Another outcome was the Teutonic knights were forced to pay for all the Polish property they raided and it was so much money that they went bankrupt. That later led to the creation of the Duchy of Prussia (a vassal of Poland) and the Royal Prussia (Poland's province). A century later, when the Protestant Revolution arrived into Poland, we avoided the bloodshed you had in Germany, even though most of Polish nobles and townsmen converted to various Protestant religions. All major Protestant Churches were active in Poland, and it was very common for brothers or husband and wife to go to different churches on Sunday. Of course we also had other religions, like the Armenian Church or the largest number of Jews in the world. Poland remained a multiethnic state until the end of WW2 when Hitler killed Jews and Stalin expelled Germans from Poland and Poles from our former Eastern territories which he annexed to the USSR. Today Poland is known as the most homogenous country in Europe but it's contrary to our history.
