That's a human term and misunderstanding. Animal behaviourists often explained it: wolves and dogs see hugging as a threat and pre-aggressive conduct. That kind of affection doesn't exist in their world and they don't understand it in our way, so it's not jealousy but rather protection and gently trying to separate the possible "fighters" before anyone gets hurt. Humans like to reflect their own behaviour/ motivations on their pets and that's why they tend to cause misunderstandings the animal has to pay for when it goes wrong. -.- It doesn't mean that you love your pet less when you stop humanizing it but respect it's own nature/ personality more.

@@cinna_to4st_waff1es So I should explain it in easy words for you? Dogs don't understand hugging as we do. It's usually no jealousy but trying to separate potential opponents. In nature anything similar to hugging means conflict, pairing or fight between grown ups. Dogs just tolerate their owners when doing it to them but don't understand the gesture as we do.
