Today - we head to the Berlin Brandenburg Fanzone for the first round of knock-out games at Euro 2024 here in Germany!
First, a clash between Italy and Switserland, followed by the home team Germany against Denmark; both on the big screen right in front of the iconic Brandenburger Tor Gate.
Enjoy as your host takes a necessary detour all the way across the city to pick up a piece of equipment from another Berlin-based comedian.
Then, as with all the Euro 2024 series on this channel, there’s fun interviews with great fans including a group of friendly Germans from Braunschweig, some Italians from Milan, a German from Cologne, and our first encounter with a lovely group of lads from Sunderland in England.
Plus, enjoy emotional reactions to all of the big events across the two games from the 30,000 plus fans in attendance, as well as endless singing and party atmosphere at the festival of football that is the Euro 2024 fanzone here in Berlin.
Finally, some honest feedback in the moment on the England fan turnout at the fanzone, as well as some thoughts on how England have set up their three group games, how they have performed albeit whilst achieving the result of topping the group and avoiding the difficult game vs Germany in the next round.
