I've got a few questions and i'll really appreciate it if you help me out 1.if someone has done basic speciality training in ireland but not got higher speciality training. will that reduce his training length in switzerland? 2. if one has 3-5 years of non training experience in a particular speciality in ireland, will that reduce the training length in switzerland?

I recently finished my training in Radiology and am considering subspecialty training in Neuroradiology in Switzerland. How is the pay scale for fellows? Do they follow the structure for Assistenzärzte?

Yes.. fellows are usually like AA. I have seen a couple of fellowship listings the past few weeks- in interventional radiology , mammography and musculoskeletal radiology..

Hi Why did you change from Surgery to Radiology? Can you please share your experience regarding this change ( regarding getting a job in Radiologie, how is the documention work in Radiologie, was your Surgery residency partly recognized as you shifted!) and did your Gehaltstuffe changed? Thank you so much for the video! Very interesting and helpful! What do you think of the Swiss Federal examination pathway and how likely is it get accepted to a residency that way? Also do non EU candidates have to start working as a medical resident in another EU country or just to get approbation?

Taxes are roughly 30-40% less in Switzerland than in the US, I can say that as an American living in Switzerland. I would recommend Switzerland right now over the U.S.

All fields.. especially psychiatry, general medicine and psychotherapy.. in these fields there is a possibility even for non EU doctors to get positions in Switzerland
