As a German, I have to say, this is one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen, even if we've been at the wrong end of it. Who cares if there was a foul before a goal. In the end, the Swedish team exploded all over us, scoring the equaliser in stoppage time. The Game at its most beautiful. Games like this are the reason why I love football!

In hindsight this game was exactly what Germany needed. An eyeopener. They were marching through the qualification uncontested. Then they found out that even a four goal lead can vanish. Thanks for that, Sweden. Best regards.

It was the best first half that i've seen in all my 15 years watching football,not because of the gols,but because too many chances they created between 7 and 38 minutes,I still can't believe how germany just had stopped when they scored the fourth, but the most important thing was that they showed their power and the Team would be one of the favorites to take the world cup.

Im from Sweden and i love this one, probably seen it 50 times. Germany is great, and i think we made 2 clear fouls. Hitting the leg in counter attack and elbow in last. However i do think that Germany can get over this and not feel to bad about the draw. It was truly an amazing game.

I'm Costa Rican, but I'm from Italian descent. I still have this bitter taste of Italy's elimination to Sweden, but I really congratulate the Swedish team. Last two qualifiers they had to face tough teams: Germany, Portugal, France, Netherlands, and Italy. Sweden, not being an elite team, did fairly well against all of them. UEFA's qualifier system is broken. How can a team that drew this way against Germany in Berlin be left out of the cup and a team like Bosnia could? (No offence to Bosnians though) Sweden was the best team in the World not to qualify for 2014's World Cup.

Germans weakness or hypothetical weakness was that they were not very good at shutting the shop and closing out. This applies only to current German team as Germany of old before 2002 WC would have closed the game out. You could not imagine similar thing to Italians, Spaniards or just about anybody else. This was the crucial WC Qualifier but Germans were so far ahead that they could have even effoort to loose and still qualify.
