@@FlapJackKila not everyone cares for lore, I have two friends who only play destiny for the pvp and have been playing since d1. On the other hand I just started playing 3 years back and know so much about the lore. Some people really don’t care for stories.

Now if only new players could get on Destiny and experience the full story from start to finish... It's a shame Bungie removed so much of the story and expansions people paid for and so much of the actual story recently was in seasons rather then being in Lightfall. I think the few stumbles Bungie had still ruined the overall experience for new players while those who stuck it out the entire time think this is a good final for the game. I mean it is but for anyone coming in it's really not and episodes don't do anything special to push that home either. Just seasons with a different name.

I would agree it is the best of destiny. But still not without its minor flaws (namely the bugs and servers). Hugely enjoyed it and will continue to follow the episodes to see what comes next. Here’s hoping they keep it up and don’t nerf everything into the ground along the way. Prismatic is powerful and I hope it stays that way. Give us more 😂

Only thing I didn’t like with the campaign was that it felt a little unfocused. Compare with beyond light for instance: we’re taking out Eramis’ lieutenants one by one, mastering stasis and learning europa lore. Witch queen we’re uncovering the secrets of how the hive got the light and looking at savthuns memories. The Final shape quests were more character driven, rescuing each vanguard member one by one. It was only the last 2 missions where we actually learned how to beat the witness

nah, hard disagree. the story of Forsaken was WAY better than this one. same goes for Witch Queen. the gameplay was really good this go around, but the story was cheeks, and Zavala went through one of the worst character assassinations I've ever seen. also I hate how they try to make it seem as if the threats that remain are dangerous at all. the enemies Ghost talks about as you sit there looking at the Travussy could be dealt with by normal guardians. the main threat is gone. yes, the raid was great, probably their best one yet, but the final shape ranks somewhere between Shadowkeep and Red War for me.

I don’t know, Ive played the last 8 years of destiny and it just felt like the witness was short lived. We never really saw the witness until the end of the previous year and before that we knew about the darkness since destiny 2 first campaign so all those years of buildup to who is behind all this and we kill him after like 3 hours of missions and an activity just after he shows up. Might just be me idk :/

Nah you’re right. Barely even saw the witness and the final mission was stupid. The witness should’ve put up a better fight and they only brought cayde back so more people would actually play the final shape…it was a nostalgia grab from hell.

The final shape was so mid. Prismatic is mid. The only good thing that came from final shape was all the new loot and exotics. That’s it.

Absolute shill. Bungie have set the bar so low that all they had to do was release a half decent campaign and people like Jake are impressed. Overall this dlc is mid at best. Prismatic is meh, far too many restrictions on what you can and can’t do. The exotic class item is restricted to only a few perk in each column. The season activity is dull as dish water. Pale heart location is three small sections that are not fun at all to traverse. They destroyed the currency economy by removing shards, it takes max glimmer to fully improve two weapons! The story telling was not great in the campaign at all, no real questions get answered. The cut scenes were good but nothing amazing. Zavalas new voice actor doesn’t fit right at all. Making the witness a 12 player activity is such a let down. An activity that’s buggy as hell and cannot be failed I might add. 10 years for a final boss that you are guaranteed to beat… pathetic.

And last mission was ass and we barely even saw the witness at all. I don’t see how people are hyping this up. Only good thing from final shape is all the new loot and exotics. (Excluding the class item) That’s literally it. The class item ain’t even worth getting in my opinion I’d literally rather just run my regular wormhusk or something. I’ve never felt like a lore accurate guardian in this game but one time and that is when stasis came out.
