What these so called football fans have done is by jeering Gerard now is prove that all the jealousy is because he was one of a kind... a brilliant player, don't take my word for it, just look at all the players, managers and pundits....What a player, i can't think of a better player for Liverpool. Also he goes down as one of the all time greats. His footballing brain, passing, tackling, motivation and scoring he's done it all at the highest level, with the best intentions. As soon as he gets the ball , he looks up always going forward, a great player, often sacrificing for the team, never selfish. All the non Liverpool fans just would have wished they had him in their team...never mind......

Gerrard did it on purpose. I really believe so. Its called negative suggestion. He was made a saint in the media in the weeks before this game. Huge pressure on his shoulders. What happened was that he concentrated on not making a mistake so hard that he made a mistake. See the videos below on negative suggestion before you think i'm talking nonsense. Negative Suggestion - Derren Brown: Trick or Treat Derren Brown - How To Use A Negative Suggestion - Part 1 If you look at what happened. Its too much of a coincidence for it to happen by chance. He makes two mistakes. He looks up at the Chelsea player coming before accepting the pass so he is fully aware of the situation but misses the simple ball to his feet to let it roll past him onto the path of the Chelsea player and then slips when attempting to chase down the ball. You could look through all his matches for the last 10 seasons. Never did he make two such simple errors in a row. I am an LFC fan.

"I meant he would know a lot about losing and disappointment being a liverpool manager," That implies that Liverpool managers in general know a lot about losing and disappointment. No less than United Mangers do as they have had just as much disappointment and losing in their history as Liverpool. They have also have more than their fair share of success and winning, like Liverpool. So yes. Both clubs know a lot about winning and losing :) "are you serious very successful you finished 7th and 2nd that's not very successful you have won nothing" Oh yes I am very serious. To improve two seasons in a row is success. From 8th to 7th, then from 7th to 2nd is fantastic progress. Success isent just about winning trophy's. Its about progress as well. When Brendan took over the club he had to start a five year rebuilding plan as a lot of work needed to be done over years. The plan was to start winning the league again by year 4 or 5 and to build towards that before hand and make progress. Last season was only year two and Liverpool made great progress by finishing second, when the target was 4th I may add at this early stage. Year 2. You have to build a foundation first before you can start winning leagues and trophies. Brendan has been successful in building the foundation and the club are well on course, to start winning trophies by year 4 or 5 :) I would also add that United also went a long time without winning the league. 26 years, and 40 years once as well. So you could say that United know more about losing and disappointment than Liverpool do ;P

I watched this game live at a sports bar with some mates, one of which is a huge Liverpool fan. There was probably about 1000 Liverpool fans there I'd say and all of their faces looked like smacked arseholes after both goals. Was classic. Chelsea absolutely parked the bus. It's a weird situation I'm in because I really hope City don't win the league because I absolutely despise them and if they don't win Liverpool will win...
