Wow, Gerry really nailed it. He took a lot of criticism for his performances in the last debates but I think he deserves credit for this one. A great performance.

Maybe he had weapons in his hands, who hasn’t? We decide as human beings to abuse each other in simple terms each day, deciding instead of uniting together, we are always dividing. I am a witness to people being abused day in day out and I did stand up for one person in particular, I was made an outcast for that. We need to, has a people of this proud country, unite and stand up for ourselves. I'm fed up of the cowards and the shallow people in this world, balls up as a citizen............

Why didn't the government bail out people. Meaning pay money to clear mortgages or parts of mortgages?

@51wins Thats nonsense. For a start he wasnt "sent" anywhere. Fianna gael and labour have reneged on almost all promises made. So what did they know about details ? I voted labour and look at them now, they are carrying on the same path as fianna fial thinking more loans, more debt is going to solve anything. They have put ireland into an economic black hole. Sinn fein are the only party in my opinion that have any credibility left.

Putting aside everything else about the man, love him or loathe him, he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about when it comes to economy. You do realize that Sinn Fein did not control the IRA or any nationalist group they where only the voice of the Army council, I'm a Sinn fein supporter and I'm not saying Gerry knows or doesn't, but when you take into account the different groups and time they may have happened there is no reason to believe that Gerry would known anything about said killings.
