Gervonta Davis weight information that was previously reported has now been updated and debunked. It was previously stated in boxing that Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin would have a 12 lbs rehydration cluase that required both fighters to weigh in on the day of the fight per the WBA, the WBA has confirmed that policy is planned for the future but will not currently effect #DavisMartin fight! The Gervonta haters get proven wrong yet again and refuse to update the information that was put out by them.

I just don’t get why Mfs get upset about someone at 135 not wanting to fight someone who weights 150+ on fight night lol even tho tank isn’t the reason for this, it’s still a great idea and should be enforced by everyone

God forbid a fighter at 135 doesnt want to fight someone who weighs over 150. A rehydration clause is for BOTH fighters, so there's no disadvantage to anyone. And if it causes that much of a problem, maybe that's a sign to move up.

I used to fight roosters as a kid, and match making was a science and an integral part of the sport. As the owner of a fighting rooster, you went to the pit and tried to find an opponent that your rooster had the best chance of beating; the goal was not to show that your rooster was the best fighter but to find the easiest opponent. But of course, after the fight, the winner would claim to have the best fighter!

Im agrees with the new and old way weigh in. All weigh should be the same day of the fight. Whoever doesn make the weigh should quick that weigh class and jump the next wegh class simple.
