My secret for getting near GIGABIT Internet speeds with TMobile Home Internet without paying more per month. Works for me for rural off-grid internet in the middle of nowhere using Waveform Quad Pro & Mini 4x4 Antennas
Quad Mini: amzn.to/4ati2ms
Quad Mini 10' Cable Kit": amzn.to/49CFLPE
Quad Pro Kit: amzn.to/3xF1OI8
Window Cable: amzn.to/3PZrqFU
Disclosure: Waveform provided me with these two antennas for this review. No scripts or requirements. All tests & opinions are my own. I have been personally using these for over a year & they are a game changer.

What do you do for wireless internet? Quad Mini: amzn.to/4ati2ms (best deal) Quad Pro: amzn.to/3xF1OI8 / If you watch my other videos I also use Starlink, which is great but TMobile shown here is faster & I use both of them with a multi wan router. Starlink was not part of any of this shown in the video. You can use this alone, or do what i am by combining both for redundancy & greater speed.

"Don't live liked this" showed 240 down and 7 up (with a 23ms ping). A year ago, the best I could get was 15 down and 1 up (two of us worked from home during Covid with that connection and we made it work.). I would have killed for "Don't live like this". Then T-Mobile became available. Now I get 300 down and 80 up. I'm still on a high. A few weeks ago, fiber became available. Damn, all these years with crappy internet and now I'm in heaven.

The T-Mobile App has a tower finder feature that lets you use the camera as a starting point for fine tuning antenna placement, at least for iOS. In the T-Mobile app navigate under Home > Connection quality > More about connection quality > Launch placement assistant > OK, Let's do this > Skip video > Share location You'll eventually get to a an interactive tower finder.

While you can use the app, there's nothing better than actually turning the antenna in a compete circle in 45 degree increments to find the best signal. Sometimes due to signal bouncing off building, trees, or hills you may get a better signal when aiming just a little off from the tower.

Did you mount it on your radio tower? And did you get rid of Starlink?

No, I still have Starlink. The antenna for T< is just on the side of my house. I will be doing a router video as sadly my tplink gear had some unexpected issues. I will be showing what I installed shortly and what its doing. While it wasn't part of my tests, I have 1 tomobile and 1 starlink coming into the router now. The TM is much faster than Starlink though and better latency too. I still keep it as TM went down here during a storm and Starlink kept us going

@@SilverCymbal, It's really good to point out to viewers that TM went down during a storm. Did your connection drop out entirely, or did the speeds decrease? How long approximately was it out for? Do you think the cell signal it was diminished because of the heavy rain?

@@youtubereview8176 No this one was very unusual. Suddenly I stared getting super slow speeds, maybe 6 meg down with .5 up, I was rebooting routers, etc. We had lost power but cell towers always have generators. then I determined the tower's generator must have failed and I was connecting to the new tower, who only knows how far away! The next day they must have fixed the power for the tower and like magic it was back,

@@youtubereview8176 No it was a power outage at the cell tower, it was their generator failed. I ended up connected to another tower very far from here, I only got like 5 meg down and 1 up, so bad. They restored power the next day

I have the Quad Pro, I can't get over 100Mbit. I think the problem is my local towers are over subscribed. I'm looking at rural property and with just my phone I can hit 300Mbit with towers about the same distance away.

I would definitely do the table test,. Its a pain but when you hit the right spot you will be glad you did. These are semi-directional but even 20 degrees off can steal a lot of speed. I spent two hours doing each test twice and finally used the compass in my phone so I knew the exact direction. It can really be worth it. I hope this can help.
