If that's the case, then you don't need their fittings. Just use soldering connections and crimp them. The o ring is the business end. Why else would it be in there.. but if it did leak maybe could solder of braze it instead of ripping it out

Love the convenience, but my copper and solder joints have held up for 60 years. Not sure a rubber O ring will last that long. And outdoors, the copper often has tiny pits in it, and any kind of bite might not hold up with water sneaking thru the pits. Solder actually holds better with a few pits to flow into.

All those years of 50/50 ! Taking my chances and holding my breath ! But you didn't mention Soldering them, which is likely what a lot of Hobbyists do ! And I understand it isn't cost effective for a Technician in the field, or in the industrial sense to Solder these ! Just saying ! I myself, have done both, depending on the occasion !

Telling people that PEX A has "one tremendous downside" (@2:35) is like saying that straight-head screws should be avoided because they don't work with Philips head screwdrivers. Choose your words more carefully. PEX A is the clear choice.

Warning , I have had premature failures (less than 2 years) in Pex B with heavy use replacement applications (example a ½” bathtub supply in an overcrowded apartment or a ¾ “ line in a water recirculation line) due to the reduced inside diameter of the fittings increasing water velocity and causing what they call dezincification on brass fittings. Safer to use PEX A or go up one pipe size if you are set on PEX B as I have not had any issues since doing this . If you know fixture units and or about water velocity then you can compute that the PEX B is not a ½” for ½” approved replacement for most situations while PEX A might be .

Homeowners are generally assumed to be incompetent when it comes to anything remotely technical. It would seem buying a home is something you can never do if you decide at some point to learn anything other than how to buy a home. I think of you exclude people that own a home, youll find that basically everyone knows how to use teflon tape.

You forgot “lawn striping guy”. I wanna spend an extra hour plus to stripe my 3 acres of mowable grass just so I can do it again a week later. But at least my yard will look like a checker board for a few days 😂.

Here’s a good one and I’ve added this comment to it, that sort of disputes his claims of impossible, he should of soaped the 3line wires to lubricate for the pull then followed my advise: like with anything electrical, cautious handling. He’s right, don’t crowd them and 90 degree turns are OUT, 2x45’s are best for cornering. Send through a fish line, securing the coated bundles and pull’em through. I did and it’s been UNDERGROUND FOR 25 YEARS NOW, yes, go HEAVY ON SEALING ALL OF THE JUNCTIONS. BEFORE I pull line through, I pressurized the GRAY CONDUIT, SOAPED EACH CONNECTION TO CHECK FOR LEAKS (Like you do for gas lines) with a wet bar of soap and a small paint brush, all the way around EACH junction. If it bubbles, clean it off and seal it some more

4:42 if I'm forced to put two different metals together like that, I'd want to put a wrap on it anyway, and even overwrap to those last threads to stop them from touching. But I'm coming from a place of superstition, not knowledge.

How lazy and the stupidest muthafucka can you be? I said it years ago bullsh¡t sells, ain't difficult to add the trimmer line to the stool. If I'm still able to do it with arthritis on my hands at the age of 44. There isn't a excuse for anyone, don't cheap out on the trimmer line cheap line don't last and will heatuo fast preventing the trimmer line to release as you trim avoid rocks and cement it'll eat up the trimmer line fast. 18 years with a corded homelite weed eater that does a better job than my black & decker edger

Having seen WAGO connectors used in Germany for many decades, I have full confidence in them and wired my whole house using only Wago connectors. They are also more efficient to use and provide great time savings as well as flexibility when changing some connections. With a 20A circuit breaker, a 40A current would be disconnected by the circuit breaker within 30 seconds, according to a Schneider Time Current Curve data sheet. Thus, in real life, there will be no overload of 40A or 60A for 10 minutes while circuit breakers are functioning properly. Overloading 12AWG wiring for 10 minutes or more with 60A could cause serious problems with the electrical insulation of the wiring in the wall, which is rated at 60 to 90 degree Celsius. Thus, any circuits overloaded in such a way would have to be physically examined for damage and possibly changed. The Wagos would be the least of my concerns. Thankfully, circuit breakers don't usually fail in such a way, but I have seen people swap 20A circuit breakers for 40A or 60A in order to accommodate a high-powered appliance or an old style welding machine. Maybe this only happens in the Philippines...

I got a sprayer with 45% vinegar, salt and dish soap as a surfactant. Might take a few applications if you start early and Spring takes its time getting here. In hot sun it nukes anything organic. I tried it on a 2 foot tall weed with a pinky width stem and it is bowing out. Definitely don't spray in desired growth areas. This bleaches the soil.

I’m wondering. If you are running 12/2 but go down a masonry wall and add conduit is best practice to add a J box to transition to the bare wires meant to be run without the jacket?

Unless you got a crazy deal, that M18 mower price of $800 is "tool only." The 12mAh batteries are still $500 for the set and you'd still need the charger ... the complete kit remains the way to go.
