for the people making fun of her pronunciation, multilingual people sometimes develop odd speech patterns or slur their words at times. being able to speak two languages alone already makes her extremely smarter than most. i don’t care for wendy that much, but as a first gen kid, it irks me to see people make fun of her traditional values or certain attributes of her personality that are thanks to her being nigerian. educate yourselves and get some real culture before you come after others.

It works for their family and what must be the cleanest and most well-behaved children on the planet. The damage my sons would have done! I don’t need to be made comfortable. She’s not the only one with degrees. Some of us are degree’d and are around other degree’d people all day long. I lived in DC for 3 years and most ppl I encountered in that town are highly educated. I appreciate other people who value education. Wendy just doesn’t have a likable personality. I always saw her on cable news shows as a commentator in the past and I liked her. But since she’s been on this show she’s brash, arrogant and aggressive. It’s a no for me!

Although, she is a proud black woman who worked very hard to attain them. In my opinion, the reason Wendy doesn’t dim her light is cultural. It’s nice to see a black woman who hasn’t been indoctrinated into America’s 🐂 💩

The same way that Kandi is the only one on RHoa that lives in Atlanta. The women don't have to "live" in the city limits, they can have their house in the suburbs on the outskirts. But Potomac, just like Atlanta is their home and where they do their business.

As an interior designer with 17 years of experience, I say this is very underwhelming. Contrary to the belief of many you can design a fabulous room on a tight budget (if you have the knowledge of where to purchase things). The furniture and decor she selected are of good quality however she could have opted for decor with a wow factor and would have spent the same. She should have hired a decorator (not a designer) and her home would be far more appealing.

I can’t wait to get a library in my home! Can’t stand people that don’t read. At the very least get a audiobook app! Beautiful home. I like to see you have different colors in each room. I love that fountain. We have so many of the same tastes in decorating. Since you love the bed, what type of mattress is it?? I like the house and can’t wait to see the upgrades as she spends more time on the show. Ms. Karen’s house was a tad old looking and needed tons of updating. So at least Wendy is starting out better than that!

Don’t act like foreigners don’t have perks over melanated Americans. I know there some type of deal between US and foreign governments. They not just letting you over here because you deserve an education and upward mobility. There’s ALWAYS a price to pay.

You tried it. I'm an international student and you actually have to pay SIGNIFICANTLY more to get an American degree as an international. No offence but African Americans are literally the most privileged out there in terms of ability to get an American education. I'm not joking. Y'all have: 1) The most scholarships 2) The most generous scholarships 3) Affirmative Action The only race that has it easier than you to get access to education is Native Americans.

Some of the things you guys take for granted like clean roads, traffic rules being followed, everything being well organised and beautiful, these things aren’t there in most other countries. The overall living standard is higher.
