Oh Lori, Edward loves triffles! I am not allowed to make a grown up triffle. I have to use jello cubes and I have to use those multicoloured sprekles on top. That is how his mother made it. So I gladly bow to family traditions. Cee 💚💚💚🍀🍀🍀

Thanks for sharing this along with prompting us to consider other combinations. Love this idea! It's so pretty, who wouldn't be tempted to dig right in? I just canned apple pie filling. With apple walnut bread crumbled and cheese cake pudding, I think it might be our family's favorite. Gears are turning.. Doesn't a banana bread with bananas, cheese cake pudding. whipped cream, and topped with walnuts sound good? Blueberry pie filling with cream cheese pudding with angel food cake 😊 sounds delicious too

I love peaches that looks good. I had a lot of fresh peaches beautifully frozen, really took my time preparing them, and they were good, was going to do some canning in cold weather. We had a rare hurricane and knocked out power the only thing that did not survive in my freezer was all the fruit. I am bummed to say the least.

Mrs.Lori- I have lived in the south all my life and never, not a holiday or church gathering or anywhere have I saw anyone make a peach trifle! Made me want some.....I make Trifles too....haven't made one in a long time...last one I made was in a clear 9x13 casserole dish and it was much easier to spoon out.....by using a spatula....and it comes out all in one piece.....we liked it better that way, but I agree they are prettier to show in a trifle bowl....but just seemed easier and less messy to get out of dish.....🤣Mr. Brown sure enjoyed it for sure.....I didn't think he was going to tell us how he like it until he finished it ...😁.

I've made trifles for years. I used to make them for co-workers birthdays when I actually went into work, rather than working from home. Now I make everything from scratch so I can cut back on some of the sugar. One of my favorites was from either Taste of Home or Country Woman, a blue ribbon prize winner for Pumpkin Trifle. It calls for butterscotch pudding and spice cake. It's amazing.
