Judge Mathis

Judge Mathis

Күн бұрын

The plaintiff says she dated the defendant, but they broke up after he choked her. She then discovered she was pregnant, and she’s suing her ex for child support and emotional distress. The defendant says the plaintiff maced him in the face while he was holding their child. He denies owing for anything. #JudgeMathis #RealityTV #Court

Getting your child when you want to, here and there, just to take them on the block to impress your homes is not parenting. Putting your child in dangerous situations, hoping he models after your lifestyle is insane. And what is up with parents thinking they get to be bothered with THEIR children only when they feel like it? If you're seeing him only 2 days out of the week, the least you can do is pay the costs of half of his food, living expenses, health and dental care, academics, clothing, etc.

I wanted believe him but the more she spoke I realize he was trying to pull the crazy baby momma card. He’s inconsistent, unorganized, and unreliable. Children need consistency. If you’re picking up a child who is used to structure and have nothing for them to do, the child is going to ask for the parent that gives the, security and structure. The mother obviously has structure. This man wants her to drop what she has to do when he’s ready to be around and then drop everything when he’s done. The son wouldn’t ask for his mom if they did something that interested him. It’s not about taking them places, it’s about talking to your child, making a positive connection, using what they tell you to engage in their interests that makes them want to be around you more!

I was just about to say he keep lying and couldn’t even keep his story first in the beginning he saying. He don’t buy stuff for his and that’s it’s not about materialistic things. And that’s it’s about the TIME he gives his son and he feels like time is all kids care about not materialistic things. But then in the end says he always buying shoes and clothes which is why he feels like he shouldn’t feel child support. And that when his son with her she upkeep herself more then her son. But like I said I believe her. I believe he only bought one pair of shoes for his kids. He was constantly contradicting hisself. Went from saying he ain’t don’t have a phone to communicate with her to saying seconds later who she be having blocked. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

All your assumptions seem valid mine is based on the last statement that came out of her mouth about he being a dad to the older child. The child is still very young and it's natural if he desires to go to his mom because he's more familiar with her. It's got nothing to do with doing anything interesting to him. Even if they did, after a while a child will most likely ask to see the "main" parent once they are tired. All the assumption about being inconsistent, unorganized and unreliable are all based on what the judge projected nothing in the evidence shows she's more consistent, organized and reliable than him. In this case I believe they are equally responsible to make things work out for the best in terms of parenting. The judge should have suggested a mediator.

Unless he is a teen, MOST children play outdoors and run and play during recess. Materiel things is also not all that is needed to raise a child. Lights, gas, hot water, food, electricity, gas to get back and forth to school etc. If your child has all of that, your child is being taken care of and your child support is not going to waste. The "she won't let me see my son" allows him to escape accountability because if he really wanted to have his son on a regular basis instead of when it's just convenient for him, he would've taken her to court to fight for visitation or joint custody. However, he hasn't because he doesn't want to be ordered to pay child support or be consistent with getting his son. They both seem like they're using their son as a pawn to annoy each other. They're too focused on trying to be petty without putting their child first. Also, who knows what the co-parenting relationship is like with his other baby mama or how active he is in that child's life.

Thats a deadbeat’s favorite speech “Its about materialistic things when it comes to the mother.” Not all fathers, cause sometimes its true. But when a deadbeat says that knowing they don’t provide ANYTHING for their child is the lowest of low. I’ve witnessed some say this but they love materialistic things for themselves. They will grow hair and have to spend money for styles, buy expensive clothing, etc. Yet complain about the mother.

Breaking News: The Judge is correct. If the man goes down to child support voluntarily (that's where it ends up anyway), and quickly, child support is fair in turns of the percentage of his gross income they will take. What typically happens is the man ducks and dodges child support for so long, that by the time they catch up with him, the monthly amount is a King's ransom. Its his fault

Buying clothes and shoes is not child support. A child needs food, supplements, toiletries, heat, etc. Get out of here with shoes and hair cut!!! You don't have to go to court. They have each other's numbers, so I guess it doesn't matter that he's blocked on social media, but you have to have a way to communicate with the other parent whether you like each other anymore or not. He doesn't want to financially provide for his son, yet he complains that his son doesn't look nice enough with fly clothes and shoes... Help her provide for him so she has enough to buy him nicer things. Feeding and housing him takes precedence over shallow things like name brand shoes that the ghetto dads are always concerned with and never care about more important things. He said, "Getting me to love him for a second, then snatching him away "...Um, you should love him at ALL times; not just for a "second" whenever she gets you to get the child to bond with him.

You took the words out of my mouth. He had no business picking a child up at 8pm to go to the park in Chicago and to be hanging on anybody’s block .. I’d be in family court fast as hell if I were her.. he’s outta control.. sorry doesn’t fix his child’s life being snatched away

@@K_Cole0128 Facts! I was side eyeing her for continuing to allow her child to go with him when he keeps putting him in the wrong environments! She definitely needs to get it set up with supervised visits in a safe location, b/c it sounds like she grew up and grew past him, but this hood booger man isn't growing up any time soon to make safer wiser choices as a father, and it's not a game out here... Children are getting hit with stray bullets too. I don't play about mine, and she don't need to play about her son neither.

360° is where he went back to his old ways. Imagine facing forward and spinning at a 360 angle you’re back to where you started. Right? What you meant to say is 180. 🙄 🤦‍♀️ 😝

It was so hard to understand him. Ladies please work on self love, self esteem and self confidence. You don’t have to pick the guy who speaks to. Find someone with healthy characteristics in them.

She’s not speaking any better. She has a child. A man should be the last thing on her mind. The only thing she should be finding is every opportunity to raise her child to not turn out like his parents

Young lady, he didn't do a 360, you mean he did a 180. Doing a 360 means he was behaving back again the same negative way you said he was before in the beginning.
