Not really. It was a propaganda piece on black people and culture. Have you not noticed that all those movies with black people never gave you a hero character. They only gave you degenerates and not one good guy. If there was one, he was deleted at some point in the movie. From Menace to Society to Juice, Boys 'N the Hood, New Jack City, Colors, and on and on. No heros, unless they're white. All degenerate characters. It was a propaganda play just like the music.

I think he saying the Hughes Brothers were probably dirty mackin and fuckd up future opportunities. Knowing and unknowingly type shit. Hollyweird is a weird bizniz and one bad thing can fuck up a nigga whole career. Plus he saying they didn't capitalize on the momentum probably because they were trying to get Tupac when Tupac didn't even fuck wit them after the fight they had. When the star of ur successful movie was right there in their face. They dropped the ball because they thought the grass was greener on the other side. Betting on Pac wasn't the right move because obviously he didn't live past 25yrs old. And also maybe they wasn't as talented as they thought they were because they never wrote another classic to keep shit going. I think dats wut he saying, lol, shit idk💯

Tyrin is 100% right, the Allen Brothers have credibility of saying they contemplated teaming up with Pac on several movies when they have no history of teaming with anyone else in their film career. They never did that with tate, tyrin or anyone else. And what's the comment about "being forced to do Dear Mama documentary" on the Breakfast Club...indeed they should get off 2pac's conversation and talk about the living actors they have worked with

Because Hollywood wouldn’t finance black script’s after a certain time. We were a fad to them.

As a Pac fan, of course I wondered how Pac would've added to that movie, but it didnt happen. Personally, i think Tyrin Turner is offended by 2Pac always being mentioned in his interviews especially because Pac was said to be sought after to "star" in the movie, then bumped heads over the character he settled for, and then Tyrin who put his all into the role was treated like a rebound! To add insult to injury, almost everyone else eventually blew up as actors. I hear what he sayin, and as much as i wanna call him jealous, i have to admit that I understand his point of view of being overlooked, under appreciated, and left out of black Hollywood! Tyrin was supposed to be that dude today. From Rhythm Nation, his small role on Deep Cover, too Menace. He’s a star that never got that chance to shine to his fullest potential on the silver screen and that sucks to know these brothers in black face couldn’t control their less melanated side. Those who have ears to hear will understand.

BS! No filmmakers or producers owe this dude sh*t! Do you know how many actors out there are trying to get roles and why do the Hughes Brothers owe him a role in every one of their movies?!? He’s saying they are about themselves - is he listening to himself? 🤦🏻♂️ are they supposed to give Larenz, MC Eiht, Too Short, Jada Pinkett Smith and Bill Duke roles in every movie too?!? Every project is its own project… my question is was he auditioning for other projects and networking with other directors and producers after Menace?

John Singleton was known for putting rappers and r&b singers in his films, as a matter of fact he use to get criticized for doing that earlier in his career. And the Hughes brothers probably wanted at least one film with Pac, but John Singleton definitely said that him and Pac had planned on doing more movies together so had Pac still been living I don’t know if he would’ve stopped being in Singleton’s films to be in theirs.
