In this video I’m going assemble a sector-balanced and diversified portfolio of 11 large cap UK companies which will not only generate a higher dividend yield than the FTSE 100 but will have shown a higher share price growth over the last 5 years. The portfolio will also pay out dividends every month compared to quarterly payments from a typical FTSE 100 Exchange Traded Fund. For full transparency, of the individual companies mentioned in this video, I own shares in AstraZeneca, BAE Systems, British American Tobacco, National Grid, Shell and Rio Tinto.
