You've most likely seen exercises the pros are doing to help them get more power. Many of them involve jumping of some sort: Up on boxes, down from boxes, side jumps with turns, skaters, 180's & 360's, leaping, bounding, running...and more!
Well, what if you can't jump? What if your joints hurt or you have injuries that prevent you from performing high impact exercises without risk?
Here are two perfect drills for you that help you work on your acceleration and deceleration without your feet having to come off of the floor. They help with fast-twitch muscles that promote speed in your swing. You are still using ground force and your body will react to it in the same way as your swing.
