I’ve really taken to Diabolic Beetle as a deck. Loading up on goofy level 1s like Mokey Mokey but milling with Beetle and Dragias and buffing up a big boy is super rewarding

It's incredible that the stall deck's character is named Gavin. "Are you playing bullshit?" is immortal

A shoutout to psychics for being one of the more fun decks to play even if not the best. Also, delighted we got you to say "Beetdown", mission successful.

I want to apologize for early DLM categorization of aggro, we had a few crossed lines on what would be "enough" cards to have a coherent theme (but then we had "Aggro" being the most represented deck which wasn't intended). We basically settled on decks with Dragias, Mystic Dealer and Witch (and/or a couple objectively bad cards that are included because they are pitch-able with dealer like Cat and Spell Archer) to be categorized as "Dragoncaster" even tho it isn't exactly as it was in Rush Duels.

I love the Rush Duel LEGEND ruling with 1 card per type of choice such as between Mirror force and Magic Cylinder, which is how they spark in deck building later on. Rush Duel is for casual players who like beatdown style but still maintain the Combo-ish introduction to Modern, a new hand draw of 5 to comeback is pretty great actually, we can wait for a larger cardpool fun like time wizard. They are Konami's new flagship in Japan for a reason 😂

Man, im still mad that we still dont have physical rush duel. I hope if this draws enough attention they'll print physical sets

Man the only problem is the first pack lacks spell that refills the deck constantly like spell recover typing for dragon ECT ECT, I hope Konami realize this and gives us the second booster sooner that containing power spell for refills the deck

Psychics are also pretty damn strong right now, though I think their Climax Beat skill is a big part of that. Seriously, in a format where Deck searching is practically nonexistent, being able to set one of two strong Spell cards from your GY or Deck *every turn* is not to be underestimated.

Rush Duel in DL right now feels like OG Yugioh if you cut out the fat of only being able to summon once or twice and slowly chipping away for 8000 damage.

I’m honestly shocked by how limited the cardpool is right now. There are only TWO playable trap cards right now, and one of them is exclusive to Psychic decks. This format will be cool when we get more cards.

Really looking forward to Shadow Flowers and Sushi Angels as a strategy. I remember seeing the cards getting revealed waaaay back when and being disappointed I wouldn't get the opportunity to play with such a unique archetype. Now I finally have a chance to play with them!

I'm building my Psychic beatdown deck for Robin Ngl, i just wanted to play Rush bc of this archetype, i'm a lover of pay lp decks like PUNK, Dinomorphia or Gold Pride and this deck fits my taste

Came back to Duel Links exclusively for Rush Duel and having a nice time with it! Still dislike the monetization of the game itself, but I won't fault Rush Duel for the sins of its forefathers, and am enjoying it at a relaxed pace as I grind out the gems for a F2P deck to climb with. Edit: Also sad at no mentions of any Psychic lists at the shoutouts on the ending :(

I'm so excited that people are finally going to be introduced to Rush Duel. Hopefully people spending money on Duel Links means Konami will finally print Rush Duels for TCG! (Also Dire why the heck did you use the popsicle artwork for Dragias you're doing the poor guy dirty)

Rush Duel has brought life to Duel Links and make it feel like it was 2017 all over again. A breath of fresh air considering how tiresome Master Duel can be sometimes.

For some reason yugioh has speed duels, rush duels, and turbo duels, and they're all completely unrelated

Ive been dying to receive some Rush Duel content here in the west and Im jumping from joy that you are covering it and hopefully making more Rush Duel centered content!

I wish this was added to Master Duel instead of Duel Links. It's just way too difficult to get cards on DL, and the cardpool for this format is abysmal, without the ability to craft or disassemble, it's just not enjoyable at all (and I even pulled 2 Dragias!)

I do hope we get actual rush duel in the TCG or on Master Duel it would be nice.

I'd love to play this, abilities and all, without the gacha system!

Managed to reach KOG rank yesterday using Sevens Accel Road and it was NOT an easy fight with multitudes of aggro decks. Phantom bind is more often than not just a dead card in the field. Even when facing against themed decks (Dragias or Spellcasters as well), it is very easy to destroy their board when you attack them with large beatsticks.

I've been having a lot of fun with the Draconic Resonance deck and the Diabolic Beetle Beatdown, but one of my favorite decks so far is Romin's Psychic deck. Admittedly, I'm a fan of "Lifepoints are a resource" decks like Aroma, so I might be biased, but there's something great about double Prima and Psychic Drive buffing a Folder Blitz to bowl over any setup

Im hoping that they are releasing rush duel first on duel links to see how popular it gets. Then release the physical cards then add it to master duel.

This is like what I wanted to play. A Fast game that revolves primarily in resources management and combos Is like D&D in that way. It feels like play a new old Yu-Gi-Oh

as a person whose been playing rush since its inception, im very curious on how fast theyre going to powercreep the dl ver (which is not a bad thing since current rush is VERY fun). Mainly bc a lot of the theme “remakes” that theyve been doing for rush only started recently and require the game to be like years ahead of what its currently at. And we know konami loves their yugiboomer bait lol

I'm absolutely loving Rush Duel, my favourite deck so far is the Explosion Drive deck, I really hope they bring this to the western audience.

The dragon skill also boosts up your targets' levels by 4 which you didn't mention, meaning that you can get over the Sportsdragon level locks that way. Also, Sevens Road Accel is absolutely the second best deck in the game. Split makes itself into a 2600 ATK beater, so it can run over pretty much anything, it literally does not care about the Yamiruler lock because Witch Specials, not Tributes, you basically always have access to SRM so you can always crack back on the draw, and Torna basically guarantees your opponent can't stall you out with defense position fodder.

I'm personally having alot of fun with psychic atm even has a battle trap that punishes opposing mutistrike dragons

Maybe I should get into Rush Duel. Just this weekend I got an entire set of the Gold Rush rare cards. They're absolutely gorgeous.

I was hoping you''d talk about Romin with psychcics. Prima Guitarna can let you hit for massive damage even with low level monsters, and has more playable spells and traps than any other deck. Not only that, but two of her skills, Psychic Drive and Climax Beat are reusable, giving attack boosts or spells that help with getting over the opponent's big monsters.

Mind that for the dragonic resonance skill to work you need an earth effect dragon. Triad drago is the only non-tribute card that meets that condition. Also because the skill randomly increases the targets level by 4, triad drago and dragonic slayer become Much easier to activate and the restriction from the sport dragons matters much less

here is hoping that an official and simple way to experience it will push for a new market of fans. ive been playing DL non-stop since it dropped cuz it just feels good to knock out a game or three of rush inbetween breaks at work.

forgot to mention that you can turn yamiruler's effect off by flipping him face down or by removing him from the field because his floodgate effect only works while he is face up on the field.

The Curse of Dark Dragon deck is also quite strong and competitive, it plays the lowest to the ground game of any deck, looking for maximum playability of cards in hand, putting out consistent one tribute monsters that only Dragias interacts well with, and using the skill to convert the 5 star dark dragons into consistent pressure that can out big guys - and gets to play Dragonic Pressure on top of that.

Just gonna bring up accel wonder splat plus the skill sevens accel road outs most monsters as it becomes a 2600 atk beat stick. If you use a different spell caster your looking at a 2400 torna or if you run ansler it becomes a 2800 atk for the turn it’s summoned. I know mbt brings it up at the end but I thought I should give a bit of a explanation as to why the deck exists.

Currently what I'm using is what I dubbed "Shadow wizard £ gang" which is pretty much dark magician spellcasters. Dark magic attack is pretty much the only large scale ST wipe but the issue is that DM matches dragias in stats so it's kinda outclassed and there's not that many good backrow. Although the ones that are being used are battle tricks so there's that at least.

I really enjoy playing it on Duel Links. Been getting all my characters at least to level 10. And I'm around Stage 15 or so. I can't remember the last time that I spent this much time on a game. Lol

Yamiruler the dark delayer is on the limited 3 for a reason. If you just toss him onto the board often and use his effect, your opponent will literally never be able to beat him. Combo that with the bond bow(or whatever it is that change the battle position of a level 7 or higher warrior) and you can attack while clearing monsters. Toss in pierceing effects and well...yeeaaaaahhh.

i like the curse of the dark skill, its somewhat simillar to dragonic pressure but its more f2p friendly due to it only requiring normals, rares, and an sr thats available from the card trader

Honestly will probably get back into Duel Links after years, exclusively for Rush Duels.

I have been loving just pure spellcaster Yuga, but have been dipping toes into a Dragias beat down Luke and goddamn is it fun

really thought "gavin deck" was a playoffs reference until the go rush character skill popped up

Man, I just love this new format. Is just so nice to have 4 competitive decks that are pretty similar in power. Yeah, I know that Dragon Caster is strong, but if you don't manage well your resources is really probable that you lose. And is just good to have many variation with just one box. You have the classic good Stuff, Full magician that is pretty good in long games, ThunderBird that is powerful to make wins, but not that consistent, Warrior Control, that is just sometimes phenomenal and fun to play, Dragons Beat down, or the Fucking Beetle level 1.

Already been Rush Dueling for days. I commented this before but Rush Duels are the solution to Yugioh as a card game.

One thing I love about rush duel is that losses never feel unfair. It always feels to me that a loss in rush duel isn’t bc someone set up 10 negates and interactions, it feels more like someone was able to plainly play better than you and outpace you, in turn making it seem more fair
