Till this day, Jaclyn is one of the few guros that in every video she explains every single thing, step, and techniques and not be like yeah I put contour and moved to the next step, like she knows there are people watching her know nothing about make up and they're learning. Same. I love seeing the looks come together, and the awesome tips and tricks you have picked up along the way (like the higher bronzer, your undereye thoughts, etc)! The stunning transformations and belief that I will come away having learned something technique/application-wise (and not necessarily to watch an infomercial for a product or weigh in on any of the silly youtuber drama crap that has made this platform so toxic in recent years). Your artistry and presentational skills are so top-notch that you could probably sell me a half used Cover Girl eyeshadow from 1992 you found at a yard sale...my point being, when the application and technique is solid, the products you use sell themselves. :)

But the pandemic won’t be over when she plans to launch her products in January ... even with a vaccine, the unemployment alone will still take a while to correct. So although I appreciate her saying she doesn’t want to pressure her fans, it doesn’t make any sense. That’s not to say she’s wrong for launching her products. It’s her prerogative. But whether she launches now or waits a few months, it won’t make a difference imo.

I miss these videos from you. Ive been watching you for almost a decade. Watching you as a young girl cultivated my passion for makeup. So much so that it resulted in me becoming a MUA myself. Watching you do makeup tutorials feels like HOME. It’s so insanely soothing to me. I’m not sure who said you should stop doing tutorials, but I don’t like EM’. Yo I might be the only one feeling this way, but I’d like to see the lipsticks come back with a vengeance. Like they were such a beautiful set and I really really wanted every single one. We all know how that went tho, so hoping they get to come back the way they were intended to 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve been watching your videos since the 3rd or 4th one you’ve ever posted and there was a minute there were I didn’t want to watch them anymore. You couldn’t see the love for makeup and KZfaq anymore but now it’s back and I’m so excited. Watching your recent videos has gotten me back into makeup and I never realized how relaxing it is to sit and watch you & just listen to you talk.

UMMMM, Jaclyns highlighters are SUPERIOR second to none. Seriously as a darker toned girl most highlighters are really glittery on me and you can see where the highlight starts and stops but Jaclyns highligher make my cheek bones just look wet!!! ITS AMAZING!!!

Please make sure you do not use a beauty oil under your eye makeup like Jaclyn did in this tutorial it's not the correct way to set under your eyes. Dust powder lightly under your eyes, don't bake. Sincerely, a make-up artist

I genuinely love your videos because since the very beginning you’ve always talked to your audience like you’re teaching us. I learned A LOT! about makeup because of you. Most makeup influencers/artists assume that everyone knows how to do even the most basic steps so I appreciate that you take your time to say why you’re doing what. i respect you so much more for not pushing products at this time! my husband and i both lost our jobs due to the pandemic (laid off indefinitely) i know there are so many more people in the world in our position, worried about rent, keeping the lights on and not to even mention the holidays. i’ll be 35 next month and i’ve worked for 20 years until this one. 🥺 thank you for being sensitive to such a trying subject.

I LOVE when you talk about the products, process, brushes and everything you use because it teaches me new tricks and tips on how to make makeup last and look better. I’m not someone who does their makeup on a regular basis (wish I had more ambition for it) so those kinds of things make me enjoy your videos so much more and want to play with the makeup that I have. Plus basically being a beginner with makeup all the little detail/explanations you talk about and explain really help!!! 💖💖💖

Jaclyn, seriously you are the first KZfaqr I started watching to straight up LEARN how to do my makeup. At 66 I was never ‘taught’ how to apply makeup and look good so the answer to your question I LOVE the more teaching type videos where you chat a little but dive into what you are doing and why. A little foundation on the lips with a dusting of powder will give your lipstick/gloss staying power. And if you fill in your lips with lipliner, you'd be doubling down.
