It was very nice to somewhat get to know, who the person behind all the cool tutorials was. Seriously, every time i want to learn a new song, i search it in your channel first. And even though there are a decent amount of tutorial channels, i can never rly find one that actually finishes the piece and doesnt ask to go to their website for part 2. Brennan, nice getting to know you. Thanks for posting the video. I know what you mean about not wanting to disturb the neighbors as you play piano, which is why I bought a Yamaha Silent Series 48" upright. It's acoustic, but it lets you plug in headphones and play electronically to the sound of a concert grand piano. I can also record my playing using MIDI (whatever that means!). I loved seeing your recitals as a youngster. I absolutely can't play in front of people. I forget everything I practiced so hard to learn.

Hey! I’m glad you enjoyed getting to know me. That sounds like a great choice for a piano!! Nicely done. Oh and MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface which basically means you can connect it to either a laptop, iPad or other device and record music on it!! It’s a great feature 🩷🩷 I’m happy you liked seeing the recitals! I know what you mean, I remember it being superrrr nerve wracking and still so for me! I think the key is being really confident in the piece you’re playing first which helped me the most

Hi there, I really love your videos and am constantly learning new songs 🙏💗 do you know like if you would be able to get up to an equivalent grade in piano just by following your tutorials? Obviously within them you do teach elements of theory like what an ‘octave’ is ( and how to play it) or arpeggio etc. It doesn’t matter either way as I really enjoy learning the songs regardless haha but just curious x

I’m really happy to hear that❤❤❤ as far as the grading system within piano I’m actually not super familiar with the different grades, so I am not sure where my videos would fall within that system. That’s a really good question though. I think you could definitely learn a lot of practical skills with piano through watching my videos but not too much of the theory ❤❤❤

Very interesting Brennan, and thanks again for teaching me the end of Chiquitita by ABBA which is my most viewed video. But I'm a little disappointed that ABBA is not your favorite band, and Benny and Bjorn of ABBA are not your favorite composers. As far as what tutorials I'd like is songs from 60s and 70s. I don't know any songs after 1982 (when ABBA stopped although they shocked us all with their new Voyage album). I have a talented family that are in many of my videos, and I have recorded in many locations including Costco, and Montauk NY with the ocean in the background. I also made a few videos playing a $12,000 Yamaha Baby Grand at Costco. Thank you and good luck. 🎹 👍 Maybe Beach Boys or another ABBA song?

First of all, you feel like such a wholesome person to hang out with! And honestly, I think you're gonna be the first person that i would ever consider making a donation for, online. I told myself there is no way I would donate to anybody for such reasons before but you are like the piano teacher i never had( i only learnt piano for almost a year now), and you helped me learn so many songs so easily, I feel like i just have to give you something in return! and i'm sure your tutorials have helped so many people too ! I am so grateful to have stumbled upon your channel one day and will continue to follow your channel. Hope you don't forget me as one of your loyal fans! XD Okie now for video related comments >< Jam night sounds fun !!! Also, Do you also play the guitar and skateboard? For anime recommendations, Ghibli studios do some good films like the ones you mentioned. For starters, you can try Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer etc for action and maybe for romance/slice of life, "Your Lie in April", "Ore Monogatari" is nice and short too :) Lastly, I don't want to sound like a broken record but I hope you consider to do a tutorial on "One Summer's Day" soon, although I understand how you consider what tutorials to do, so I shall be patient and wait since it is a hard song in my opinion >

I am fifty seven and trying to self teach fro. You tube tutorials. I am struggling, please tell me there is hope as I love piano and have never been taught to read music. Do I need to learn to read or can I learn the music I love from watching videos?

You got this 🩷🩷🩷 I don’t use sheets at all and it hasn’t held me back in piano. Just keep up the good work and I recommend learning a song slowly section by section, it will make it much easier 😊
