Just wanted to talk about how I decide to split my fleets with the upcoming GAC season!

Why dont u get executor first so u can start earing crystals from arena and invest those crystals into slkr requirments

I use malevolence on offence a lot and it usually gets more banners than my negotiator since I usually underdog it with malevolence

That's true, underdogging can help - I never see anything I'd be able to do that against personally though

Huh, it's interesting to here your thoughts on this. Where I am I just put a trash fleet on defense and save the rest for offense. If my opponent doesn't have anything but Mace Windu's, Tarkin's, Ackbar's, and Thrawn's I'll be fine, but if not, I lose the match. Great video, keep up the great work!

Regarding strong vs weak fleet defense, it's going to come down to your roster and strategy a lot. I'm in k2/k3 and most of my opponents have at 1-3m more GP than me. Beating them in a ground war is practically impossible most of the time as I can't set a solid defense and also hope to clear, so I play a ship gambit most of the time with strong fleets on defense planning to get holds there and ideally prevent a full clear completely. I'm probably an exception as I've worked a lot on my ships and have pretty much every ship farmed, but it's definitely a way to punch up if you build your roster that way.

I do the same thing! K4 here and my ground defense is almost complete trash since I try to full clear each time and hope my opponent can't clear my fleets. Best way to beat accounts that are way ahead in GP. It's important to know of the off-meta counters for exec/prof though with finalizer/empire

Yeah someone else said something similar - you're definitely punching up then and fleets might be your only shot, even if you get an ugly clear

I would love a video on the executrix vs. profundity counter. I have not been able to get it to work recently. Also, interesting to hear you struggle with Chimera vs. Executor, but win executrix vs. profundity. For me its the exact opposite way

I used to do Chimaera vs Executor pretty easily, but without a tank in there it doesn't seem to work well. Executrix vs. Profundity is amazing though

@@songeta Hmm. I have Iden at R7, so that might do it. I have even begun to run Vader and tie without a third unit in the start for about three months in both GAC(K2) and TW(350M). Only failed once because I called interceptor too early and got stuck on slave1. I do this both against HT lineups and triple attacker. Thanks to you, I did some more research on the prof counter and got it to work in fleet arena. I couldnt find one with the phoenix ships, but im still feeling confident. Gonna try it this 3v3 and will see what happens

Great vid Songeta! Levi definitely mixed up the fleet meta and strategy so it's really cool to hear your thought process on it. I won't have Levi for a while, so I'm working on my empire fleets to be able to take out Prof/Exec. My guild mates have been telling me that I can split up the empire/sith ships to counter both Exec and Prof so I can set my GL fleets on defense, so that's what I'm working towards.

Can I ask you what variance of the executor is the best on defense? Like what should the starting line up be from the bounty hunters?

I think in Aurodium Negotiator and Executor are the best defenses, saving Chimaera, Malevolence and the other scrap for offense.

You can split your Empire to be more efficient on offense. Chimera with Vader, TIE, and Reaper with Defender and Intercepter can beat Exec. Tarkin, Palp, Scythe, and Gauntlet with Bomber can beat Profundity. The Defender isn’t really dicey it will just dodge until the end of time

That Chimaera team vs. Executor is pretty bad banners if you're going for full efficiency

Long term, is Chimaera worth it? Seems like with Scythe the Trixie is better: I have Thrawn at sad gear and the ship at7* with basically no abilities upgraded.

Absolutely! Chimaera is a beast in it's own right, Executrix has specialized counters to it. You can actually beat executor and profundity with an chimaera and executrix fleet in the same match, but I find the Executor battle a tad sketchy

i dont have any of the meta fleets but I got the chimaera and i'm trying to make said super empire fleet to get me up higher in fleet arena

I dont know if thats generally known but a R7 Holdo is really good for a 2 shot on Levi. You get the ult off in 99% of the cases from what I've heard (vs 7* Levi)

I feel like in high aurodium and low kyber most people don’t have a full executrix fleet, would profundity be more valuable on defense against lower ranks?

I just got executor but I don't have syth or interceptor. I got relic first order. I used to set Mal and chimera on def. But now I feel like if I could put executor and chimera on def. It be really hard for my bracket to clear. Only I don't know if I could clear everything with neg and Mal. Does Mal counter executor? I know it can be pretty reliable for profundity.

Mal does not counter Executor very clean, you need Tie Fighter and even then you can't really beat a triple attacker lineup. First order is tough, but can beat Exec

I currently have terrible fleets. I stopped playing before Malevolence/Negotiatior and came back after Executor/Profundity and my fleets weren't great even then. I now have Executor unlock in my sights and it will get me crystals in my fleet shard even at 4 stars. It looks like a lot of my shard also quit at some point 😂

@@songetait's pretty reliable, only when you hit really bad luck it falls apart. But then you can two shot it most of the time

So I'm in a guild that cannot do krayt dragon or anything, but I earned my realized something. You can't get GET2 anymore I think, and you can't get malevolence or negotiator with the new currencies. Unless I'm missing something, isn't it impossible to get those two fleets now?

I‘m forced to go full defense on fleets as I have only 2 gls to try to compete in kyber 3. I need every good ground team I have on offense (no sense on setting any of them on defense vs opponents with 3-5 offensive gls) so my only strategy is hoping they suck on fleets or on efficiency and I have to off meta fleets on offense

Usually I‘m left with chimera (for negotiator, ackbar or holdo), finalizer (for executor, empire, ackbar or holdo) and malevolence (for profundity, executor, empire or holdo)

@songeta that's how I've managed to hang around aurudium 2 with no GLs and 5 million gp...r9 exec triple attacker and r8 negotiator with r5 to r7 pilots on defence my ground units are all g8 or g10 garbage I just go full offence and hope ships hold and it works more often than not
