I just realized that Taylor sang Getaway car, August and Other side of the door as surprise song mash up in Melbourne for a reason... I might be wrong but this would be an alternate ending if he chose August instead of Betty.. He and August in the getaway car and betty crying on the other side of the door. just my theory...

Holy crap I think I understand this mashup. It’s about Travis. They got together in a getaway car (pics of them all over internet) in the month of August and he was just on the other side of the door.
