Today I go over The Most OVERRATED Quest 2 Games & rank them all in a tier list. From VRChat & Beat Saber to Saints & Sinners & even Vertical Shift.
Hopefully this video is useful to new/noob/beginner oculus quest 2 users looking for some game suggestions, & tips & tricks.

I do not own any of music, extra video clips images, chroma key, or sound effects used in this video. Or at least most of them, some stuff is mine.
My channel is about VR Content (obviously lol) I've covered many topics on this channel in the past such as PC Building, PC Gaming Knowledge, Gaming News. That can be CPM rates, Industry knowledge, Business knowledge, how to edit, how to build a gaming PC, budget or not. But VR is cooler so I'm probably gonna keep doing that.

Funny story: I was playing vertical shift(great game) and I asked "did anyone else hear about this from gethip?" And people, like half the server was like "yeah!!" So I guess this was a coincidence that was hilarious

Never have I been more immersed in a VR game than TWD. The campaign and functions were so good and did made me care for some of the characters. One moment in particular I actually cried and couldn't look at what I was about to do.

Vertical shift is an amazing game! I gave been part of the community for a while now and it is awesome! They hold monthly tournaments in the discord. The devs are active in talking with the community. The game itself is fun and competitive. If you have not checked it out, you definitely should! (Join the discord too btw)

Vertrical shift is actually really cool game, they do monthly tournaments, and after this video there are a lot more players than before. The game really deserves more love. There was also already a tourny and you can watch it on their twitch.

I played vertical shift during it’s early development stages (when it was only on side quest) and the game was amazing but no one was there.

Love the videos! you should do a video on the best non-game VR experiences. I remember the first time I tried Brink traveler and felt like I was in some kind of disney world ride, would love a video that covers more "disney world ride experience" type VR content

If you’re actually going through comments, please read this one: Walkabout mini golf. One of the single most underrated games I have seen on the Quest 2. It’s not even an app lab game, but no one seems to know about it. And I don’t give a **** if you hate golf, BUY THIS GAME. And yes, the DLCs too. Please, PLEASE mention this game in a future video. It really needs more attention.

One of the greatest VR games ever made. Seriously. I have played countless hours of this with my friend who lives 3000 miles away. It has erased the distance between us. I feel like we are meeting at a mini-golf course (or several) and just having an amazing time. So good!

Loved the video. Here's one I think is underrated -- RealVR Fishing. If you are looking for chill game to spend time with a friend or family member who lives far away, this is it. I've been fishing with my dad every week for over a year now. It feels like we are having a real life visit. We fish and talk. It's awesome. The content is great too. After all those hours, I still haven't completed every achievement. Great game, mate.

In my opinion, saints and sinners is the best game on the quest 2. The fact that you have to actually put force to penetrate the brain and then it’s tough to pull the knife out is insane, and then with a full on story, dlc, crafting, inventory, guns, explosives and physics is amazing. Although if you use the nova shotgun, your frames go down for like half a second and if you get get really close to a distraction arrow (dunno what it’s called) your frames go really low. Apart from that the frame are is stable everywhere.

i COMPLETELY AGREE with the ranking of swarm. It is one of the most amazing vr games and feels incredible for a spiderman or even (to an extent) batman fan. With a range of environments and worlds and various bosses NOT TO MENTION THE MULTIPLAYER ASPECTS COMING SOON, this game deserves so much more love and support and with a few new additions, i feel it can get there.

Have you played blaston? extremely underrated (it takes a bit to really get into it though so that might be a turn off), its basically a 1v1 bullet hell fighting game, there is no locomotion because you have to dodge bullets irl (on a podium). Its great for fitness with some people burning 600+ calories in a hour. I think its really sad that its so small since the devs constantly release massive updates (like the recent one that added gun attachments, a bow and arrow, pretty insane graphical enhancements , a new game mode, a spectator client, a VRML league, harder and more complex bots, and also some community requested features). top level play gets pretty insane with people actually juggling so they can hold more guns, getting down on the floor like a spider and looking like a eldritch horror, and some people preforming insane trick shots like blocking a grenade by curving a bullet behind their back and precisely hitting the nade to destroy it (without looking) the community is also really great and friendly, there is a pretty active discord server with people willing to answer any questions about the game too

@@ethanadams8938 depends what kind of vr games you like, I would say it is, there is a bunch of content and the game is really beautiful, there is a frame rate bug with the recent update but it should be really easy to fix, heck I would pay 30$ for this game maybe even 40$ if it was more popular

I was playing verticals shift when it first arrived on sidequest and no one was in multiplayer yet. It was the first game that kept me up all night playing it. Love that game I’ll have to get back in to it now that there is more members playing. Gotta give a shout out to the game guardians which is now on applab. It seems no one really knows about it and it’s basically like playing the movie starship troopers with the ability to put down defenses, robot soldiers, or drivable mechs. It has multiplayer and pvp As well as a solid community of players without many children playing and the user built levels are really what keep the game fresh and new. If you catch PoonDariusStrechngtn on there holler at me and sow anyone tips and tricks or whatever you need to know. Oh and also Gym Class(basketball) but you gotta deal with kids under the age of 12 spouting the N word like gatlin guns trying to get attention and/or fucking your game up. Tough to learn how to play this one at first but very rewarding once you do. Thanks for your time on another awesome video. Peace

What I think about superhot is that it is a great showcase for a first time experience to VR, but I just lost all my interest in it once I beat the game, and haven't opened it since.

smash drums is also very, very underrated, it has a good range of amazing songs to choose from and its by far my favorite rhythm game to play I played the demo version for HOURS before I paid for the full version

I was one of the lucky few that managed to get a spot to beta test Swarm and then even luckier to get a free copy from the developers, it is genuinely one of the best VR games that I find myself coming back to, along with TWD:SnS and Beat Saber

My guy you are spot on! Thank you for mentioning Swarm, that game has blown me away since day one and i find myself going back to it all the time. Don't sleep on the multiplayer, it changes the game from you being spiderman to you being a mix of spiderman and ironman. They give you boosters on the bottom of your gun, press B/Y to use them for each hand. They dont explicetly tell you that its a feature. The multiplayer feels like Tribes Ascend but on a whole different level. I also agree with your pick on Walking Dead. The mechanics and physics keep you there in the game. Stamina gives some balance to what you can do. Tension is always high in the game. The game isnt scary graphically but it can be scary in terms of tension and situation. Ive had a few moments where the hairs on the back of my neck have raised and I almost shit myself. Spot on with the rest too.

What are your thoughts on Resist? Imagine Swarm, except instead of a sky-based robot bullet hell in the style of Drunken Robot P***ography, it's an open world RPG with a variety of side challenges and a surprisingly engaging story that doesn't hold any punches in just throwing you into the world and setting. I don't hear enough people talking about this one.

I personally expected Zenith to be exactly as you described it because as you said that seems to be the way MMOs are. Also, I’m kinda the opposite when it comes to Saints And Sinners. To me the game looks boring due to the fact that zombies are inherently a boring enemy in a game (no matter what setting their in) along with the fact that from what I’ve seen you’re able to just grab enemies and they go limp (granted that’s a problem with almost every physics combat I’ve seen).

Grabbing is very risky cause it kills ur characters stamina and u can get horded by other zombies but the human enemies are way more fun to fight

Surprised no one talks about Pistol Whip more than seems to be completely overshadowed by Beat Saber. Unless they have changed it in an Update I would say Population One for not having solo option just squads.

I personally think that larcenaughts is really under rated. Larcenaughts is basically overwatch vr (overwatch sucks btw) and is a great shooter for fans of vr shooters, like me. There are currently 9 different unique characters that all have there own play style, abilities, weapons. There are lots of fun gamemodes such as uplink, cargo, etc. i highly recommend getting this game and if u do decide to check it out then reply to this comment and tell me what you think :D. P.S. this game had a very rough launch so I wouldn’t go to any videos on the game that are about a year old and stay more towards that 6 month vids.

Saints and sinners was my first game on the quest as I’m obsessed with the walking dead and this game is beyond amazing. Love everything about it. Definitely God tier.

I agree with your list a lot. I know people who haven't modded beat saber and got bored so quickly. And also, I absolutely looooove saints and sinners. It is soooo fun. I have done 2 playthroughs, one with 100+ days. I have a friend who also finds it quite scary, but I keep trying to convince him to play it.

I do like the modded version of beat saber, but its hard to find any songs that I like which isn't just an expert+ only song. I seems like people who make songs just slap a crap ton of notes without trying to make the song fair for newcommers. And songs that I do like either isn't available to play or is just a swarm of notes with 3000 bpm. It is fun but many songs is just expert+.

Saints and sinners has one of the best opening to a game I’ve played, I feel like it’s too much of a commitment though. I usually find one or two hours to play a week, and when I do, I prefer to d*ck around in pop one or gorilla tag 🤷🏻‍♂️ Going to have to check out vertical shift 👀

I completly agree with everything that was mentioned here besides Superhot VR. Idk maybe it's just me but it made such a big impression on me when I played the demo... just wow. My dad also absolutely loves it but I don't feel like people give that game enough attention. Good fricking content GetHip! Keep it like this as long as you can :)

BROOO I LOVE SAINTS AND SINNERS! It's my FAVORITE VR game of all time dude! I can't wait for Retribution! Also, you should've touched on the fact that everything is a choice. You can choose to flood the Amory or not, kill JB or don't, there's just so much freedom, and thats another reason why I love it so much

please mention this in your next video because I've seen no one talk about it. When I lost my games on quest I tried everything. To the point I was going to return the headset until a idea popped into my head. So if you turn off Bluetooth on the headset the library disappears which my brother turn of on his phone causing the Oculus app to disconnect Bluetooth to the headset deleting your game library so all you have to do is turn on Bluetooth again.

I completely agree with all of this (especially saints and sinners) but VRCHAT is still an amazing game despite the 9 year olds with 2d skins screaming the n-word there is so much to experience and so many people to meet that I still agree bc of it only being in good light on the media but if it were any other scenario I would make it slightly overrated.

I do agree with this list but you should try sport mode it’s really underrated and it’s basically like boneworks on the oculus quest but you kill dummy’s

for me zombieland headshot fever is underrated everyone on first impressions hated it cause the graphics and how it wasnt saints and sinners even tho it wasnt trying to be what it is trying to be tho is an incredibly fun arcade game plus it gets content updated every few months

I would have loved to see IRON REBELLION on your list of games that were very underrated I know $30 for a game that is a working progress is kind of steep to my opinion but the fact that you get to climb into a Mek and have full control over everything is kind of awesome the only problem I'm having with the game right now is there's not many people playing it but when you do find people playing at the lobbies are so much fun and so many laughs to be had

Blades and sorcery ( yes, including the nomad version ) is slightly underrated, looking at everything the game offers, and how little people play the game. I understand that the game is 20 dollars, but it's deserving of that price because it has enough content to keep you playing for hours.

B&S nomad is also easily moddable. My favorite vr game so far, right next to Pavlov shack and contractors. Just recently got the new update and rocking lightsabers and an assassin's Creed hidden blade.

Beat saber should follow in the footsteps of geometry dash and let players create their own levels without mods and that would in my opinion balance out the 2 sides of beatsaber

I think zombie games (that are actually good? I don't play them) are underrated because zombies as a mechanic are just BORING. The only thing that scares me about zombie games is fear of boredom. Walking Dead (TV) was on TV one day and I was like "well shit... this isn't overplaying the zombies" and I was instantly hooked on what I would have otherwise said was shite without ever watching it because zombies are as overplayed as tentacles in hentai. I understand zombies and tentacles are origin themes in their respective... fields? That doesn't mean they need to be 90% of the content in their respective... fields?

I thought saints and sinners would be way to scary for me but when I played it I realised it’s not that scary. There’s moments where you want to just s#*t your pants but it’s definitely worth it.

I agree with most of these. Something I have to mention, though, is the I Expect You To Die series. These are two of the best VR games I have ever played, and they’re slightly underrated. You might see them often in the store but I rarely see content for these games. If you haven’t tried it, look it up, I highly recommend.
