Check for grounding check for corrosion contacts check for continuity for each wire that's going to where it needs to go you will figure it out I would check for the seals on the suspension shocks and change oil in them you're doing a wonderful job😊

Old school trick with dents in the tank is to clean them out really well then fill them with water and put them in a deep freezer. Ice forming will push out the dents just keep an eye on the tanks to pull them when you are satisfied. Great rebuild! Another thing is get some detailing rim cleaner with the rim acid and it will clean up spokes and rims a whole lot less labor intensive and gets results. I also wonder why when you have stripped a build down to that extent you dont just pull motor and give entire frame a fresh coat of paint?
