You essentially need to be damn near perfect. I say this, not because it's impossible otherwise, but because by the time you drop a combo, the enemies spawning in will make it more difficult. By the time you get around to fighting the bruteish characters, the big tall ones capable of throwing people around, the enemy spawning should slow down until eventually, they stop. That's how you know you've triggered Killer Croc. It will be around a million score, like the comments mention. I've done it a few times. The trick is to utilize the disarm combo (X+Y, Square + Triangle). This is mostly helpful against shock baton and shield wielding enemies. The only real trouble I'll have is typically around when sword-wielders begin to spawn in. You can beat them down; cape stun, attack mash, combo takedown; (B+Y, Circle+Triangle (Though, it will lower your attack power)) or blade takedown; (Press Y/Triangle between their yellow attacks while pushing backward on L3). They'll also only dodge the first attack you target them with, so be persistent and you'll hit them on the second if not directly after a simple counter (the blue one). Also- very important... Don't try to prevent enemies from reaching for guns. Instead, allowing them to pick the gun up then disarming them will render not just the gun but the entire weapons crate useless. Edit: Along with the I-Frames you'll get from batclaw attack and simply jumping over your enemies to interrupt their attack, remember to also utilize RT+B, R2+O to extend your combo. It gives you a second to breathe when you're feeling overwhelmed.

Abuse the disarm combo..; X+Y, Square+Triangle IIRC. Target shield and shock baton. Allow enemy to pick up guns from weapons crates, then disarm to render both the gun and the weapons crate useless. Swordwielders are the quickest in terms of attack. Draw them closer to environmental takedowns as using combo takedown will lower your attack power. Also consider capestun to beatdown, but this method will lure any and all surrounding enemies into trying to interrupt you. If you're feeling overwhelmed, batclaw to clothesline will give you I-frames. Leaping over enemies will also interrupt certain attacks. You can also buy yourself a little bit of thinking time by picking your enemies back up from the ground; RT+B, R2+O. This can either go into a beatdown or Batman will flip them over and knock them out depending on whether they were stunned or not. Good for extending your score, at least. This last bit is moreso preference, but if you'd like to clear up most of your screen to focus in on your surroundings, the Batman Beyond skin will keep the cape out of your real estate.
