Thanks for sharing, things for us today.x watching the animals is fascinating, it reminds me of tales of the river bank, an old watch with mother from many years ago. I think the pumpkin bit has nothing for them to grip to climb onto it and be able to stay on.xx

Shows British wildlife shares some of the same issues devastating (or already done the damage) leading to extinctions of native species. Cats (feral & stray) and rats and mice. And the value of cats for rodent control. Longer term results from the same site might show some patterns (which uncorroborated cannot be extrapolated as a species wide trend, individuals behaviours can differ). With the rat/cat interaction, unbaited cameras located where rats frequent that have ample cover for refuge from cats would also be interesting. Rat species differences may exist perhaps.

I just want to ask your advice, please. We are feeding a feral cat colony twice a day. We also have heated shelters set up in front of a two-car garage. This is a block away from us so we can't see what is actually eating the food or hanging around. What kind of camera would you recommend for this setup? Thank you.
