Monday afternoon, after work, I decided to meet up with a buddy on the other side of the city for a ride to Northerly Island. I filmed on the way to meet him and I filmed taking food back home after…. Didn’t film much on the ride haha. I hope you like the video!
As you can see I really prefer mostly unedited footage so that you can get a sense of what it’s like to ride one of these things. The music is more just to hide the wind noise lol. Feel free to mute and put on whatever too. Cheers!

I had a ow and moved to euc. Completely worth it and don't regret selling the ow for euc. More range, More speed, more fun, more safety features.

Begode/Gotway RS19, Kingsong 16x, Kingsong 18x, InMotion V11 all handle up to 330lbs. At 300 lbs you want to keep below max speed so you have some headroom.

How's your Veteran Sherman? Mine's better than I could've imagined. Once you get used to it, lighter wheels feel like toys. Check out my vids. 41 MPH on sand. Powersliding like 24 feet. This thing's a beast.

@@arcrides6841 well, a few dui drivers hit me at pretty high speeds, and a few crashes. I can say that this is the only wheel that will survive without the need for repairs from its built in roll cage. I've hit 52 mph on it finally, pretty sweet honestly. I'm extremely happy I bought this wheel over any other. I sold my tesla for an e-bike, now other people can ride with me without the fear of death XD

@@michaelmar2962 Oh shit man. Yeah I try to avoid cars like the plague. There's lots of stupid drivers who try to overtake you no matter how fast you're going. Even if you're over the speed limit for the road

@@arcrides6841 Ive been riding in traffic everyday for a few years now. I feel safer on the road than the sidewalk here. Amazingly everyone would rather video me than pass me lol. Even the cops here think its awesome. The ones that did hit me just pulled out from the side, and they were all high or crossed out of their minds. I'm more happy that I wasn't driving my car actually. We just need our own roads soon xD

@@michaelmar2962 Awesome. In actual fact I don't really mind riding in heavy traffic. Just not on fast roads where you need to go full speed the entire time with cars/trucks trying to pass you. And yeah drivers pulling out from the side scare me to death. I hardly ever trust them and I'll just turn before them, swing around behind them real quick and keep going. Because all it takes is a slip of the foot and their 3000 pound metal box will instantly move right into your path of travel.

Regarding the wobbles - you should try moving your feet to hang over the front of the pedals. Try different positions/length over the pedals and that should help. That’s how I fixed the wobbles on my KS16X.

Yes I haven’t had any speed wobbles since moving my dominant foot up and my non dominant foot hack a little. Much more stable.

I sold all but one of my Onewheels and haven’t touched that one in over a month. I don’t feel very safe on the Onewheels anymore.

So how does it feel to be granted super powers Sly? With the one wheel you could travel around the city as fast as a car, maybe faster with traffic. But now It doesn’t matter what time of day; you can get there faster. And with no range anxiety.

I thought the same thing about the V11... looks nice but I want to be able to cruise at 30+ without any worry. I’ve been really happy with this 100v nikola.

@@slydogstroh I would ask around on the subreddit once they get more production models shipped but from what I can gather Inmotion wheels have a decent amount of reserve power build into the wheels above their listed top speed, so that 34mph top speed might be a safe speed. I would def ask around though.

If I were to buy one, I would def go through you to help out. I know I won't be getting one, though. I just don't like the feel of the ride at all. I'm probably going to sell my Kingsong. The other "wheel that shall not be mentioned here" has the exact feel/ride I was looking for. I don't like the company, but like the product. Having said that, I STILL love watching your vids and I am hoping a company can see the value you can bring to their company/product and they take care of you. You the man, and that's that.

Now I'm starting to regret selling my KS16S lol. They are so smooth, efficient and fast compared to OW. But in reality I don't really commute much on them and prefer the Onewheel flow for short rides in the neighborhood.

How'd you do the seat mod and installation onr the trolley handle? also where do yo uget all the stickers that you put on the body of your EUC? nice stuff. My main is gonna be the sherman and a gotway or 2.

Love the riding and video 👍. How much do you weigh. I got 84V Nikola 1600wh. . I'm heavy 105kgs. I get beeps on 30kmh. And I use EUC world premium. Any advice on adjustment of settings. Or is it coz of my weight? Was hoping to get to 50kmh. I'll be looking to get a bigger EUC soon. maybe an EXN

That is the best thing about a EUC is that you can go from not being able to ride it 5 feet to being able to fly around the city and easily hoping on it from a standstill in under two weeks. I do not even think about balance on it now. My body just naturally does it for me. Once it clicks it becomes so easy to ride. Feel safer on it than my escooter and ebike

Evolve816 I think falling off Euc isn’t as bad cus u gal forward, I’ve fallen of my Euc goin over 20mph multiple times without any gear, and because you fall forward I always do a parkour role and usually just end up with some scratches

Is the helmet easy to see out of and keep track of your surroundings? I fell recently on my One-Wheel XR. I have over 2800 miles since last year. I had a skateboard helmet, but it didn't cover my chin. My chin got cut open and I needed 7 stitches. I'm thinking of getting a full helmet like the one you're wearing.

Great to see you ripping around! I only have an MTen3 right now for an EUC but it just as fast and as fun as my Onewheel XR. I ride with a bunch of great EUC riders in San Francisco and they all have no problem keeping up or passing traffic and can easily do the full 25 mile ride that has some crazy hills. I still enjoy riding my XR around parks or other public spaces but for city cruising it is my Dualtron Compact scooter and whatever my next EUC will be. It is between the Veteran Sherman or Inmotion V11 right now. Stay safe!

Part of me wanted a Veteran Sherman haha. But this is plenty fast for my first wheel. I’m really loving it. The XR feels a bit slow now.

Don't get to comfortable on these rides Sly. It might be the FOV of the camera but the speeds you are doing are freaking me out. Stay safe man! Do you still ride your Onewheels by the way? EUC's are certainly more efficient and comfortable to ride once you get the hang on them, but somehow they don't give the flow that I get on my OW.

Hahaha you’re saying that from my video when I had only 200 miles. 😂 I have 3k+ miles on EUCs now. I still own a Onewheel but never ride it. I really dislike the company and EUC spoiled me so no reason to grab for it.

@@slydogstroh happy to read that you are still going strong on the EUC. I still regret selling mine 6 months ago. I might have to look for another one coming summer although any device balancing on 1 wheel is out of grace with the wife after breaking my collarbone on the OW 😆.

@Tarō Yamada haha yea I’m no “youtuber” I just post when I feel like it. My bad man the workload at my job increased x2 with covid so I’ve been mad busy and creating videos is more work. I also don’t commute anymore so I’m riding less and right now there is a foot of snow on the ground in Chicago, so you know. Winter. I do plan to ramp up and post more videos this year than last year tho. More coming. 👍🏼 I appreciate the support bro bro!!!

People in Chicago drive slow as hell compared to Atlanta. Man, down here people drive like they are in a race car. Probably because everything is kinda spread out in so many areas. And Atlanta has like the most unfriendly bike structure, meaning it is rare to find bike lanes and they are inconsistent. I was riding out in downtown Lawrenceville early on a Sunday morning, barely any traffic, and I rolled by a few cops, and they had never seen a Onewheel before, and the cop was like, "hey buddy, you gotta ride that on the side walk", and I was like ok, well this thing goes 20mph plus. He was like "!Oh really!?" "Ok well it looks like a skateboard to me", "Well just be careful". I'm like dang, Georgia is so slow sometimes (unprogressive). People look at you like you're an alien most of the time when they see you blazing by, while all the kids are ye'lling "Whoa!!! Soooo Cool!!!! Wow Mom look at that, that's awesome!!!" Makes me laugh so hard.

Hahaha, yea most of this is Downtown so the fastest speed limit is 45mph, and that’s just on one road. A lot of the city is 20-35mph - which means my wheel is capable of speeds faster than any car will probably go. Cars still scare me though... if I do get hurt doing this it will most likely be because of a car. I’ve seen plenty of scary, agitated drivers in the 5 years I’ve been zipping around Chicago.... but also a lot of really nice ones, like the guy in this video at 10:08

SLY I Hate you!!! lol Just playin' bro, you're the one who inspired me to get a onewheel XR+, just started earlier this week and I have to say I respect your ride a lot more. Now I'm looking at you ride the EUC which I've been contemplating too, but I'll wait till next year (gotta get that electric bike first). Just had my first wipe out last night (still getting used to them modes up hill - few weeks to heal up lol) definitely getting some armor lmbo.
