nooononononono no no when you get a piercing you get. a. bar. and a long bar too, not small rings, not dangly chain earrings. The bar needs to be long enough accommodate for swelling and have room for you to clear your piercing. The piercer should know this, but so should you since you already have piercings

Clearly overcharging for all products. And no professional reputable piercer would use gold or Diamonds as a material to pierce with (and also allow their clients to leave the store with their hair rubbing all over the fresh wound).

I have 5 piercings on both of my ears. I have 3 piercings on both of the lobes. Industrial piercing on the right ear. 2 cartilage piercings on the left ear. The first one was done at Claire’s in the late 90’s. I have my 2nd cartilage piercing 3 weeks ago done by a needle in a body piercing place. I been to this place twice already. They are so sweet and friendly. It was so busy 3 weeks ago. I’m glad that I did it. No tattoos on my body and that is not my thing in getting ink.

I have custom ear piercings, done at least 26 years ago. I have both tragus (es), stacked lobes, 2 conch piercings, one 14 gauge, the other 4 gauge dermal punched, multiple helix piercings, and a lobe orbital on each ear. 24 in all, 12 per ear. (Jan Griffiths).

i got my piercings from Maria Tash as wel!!!!

It’s no nickel 14 carat gold which I the best earring quality there is and hypoallergenic, hence the price. They pierce with one use needle and Maria tash jewelry goes from the back where they inset the long post (8mm or longer) and then screw the front into it. Once healed they will replace your post with a shorter one free of charge so your earring fits better. Also their smallest hoops are 5mm but they will not pierce with that size as they have no room for swelling. Got two piercings at MT New York and will never pierce my ear elsewhere. Also their jewelry is dreamy

I am by no means a professional when it comes to the world of piercing. However, there are a lot of comments about the fact that Maria Tash uses gold for fresh piercings. She does have stores worldwide and if this was truly a problem for her clients then I’m sure by now we would’ve heard several complaints. They do seem to going against the grain and piercing with hoops and dangly earrings instead of studs. I had 4 lobe piercings in one day at a professional body piercer recently and they are healing fine so I don’t think it’s that much of a problem if you have more than one. I do think tho that her hair should’ve been pulled back out of the way. Having said all of that I love Maria Tash and admire her business acumen as a woman and hope to visit her store one day. 😊

Why do I watch these kinds of videos 😂 it just makes me want more piercings and i got 3 piercings (daith & both conches) just last month..planning to get my rook or a triple helix done next month on the ear where my industrial used to be. I currently have a septum, 1 daith, 1 helix, triple lobes and conches on both sides and a weird little piercing where the top of my industrial used to be (had to take it out because the bottom of my industrial started to reject and migrate)

This is obviously better than going to Claire’s or someplace that uses a piercing gun but to be honest this is just a extremely expensive place to get your ears pierced. The jewelry is all very high end precious metals and real gemstones. I don’t know that I would recommend getting anything that dangles or hoops for an initial piercing you risking getting keloids.

The hoops are only for the lobes tho. If she cleans them well, it's not going to cause any problems since lobes don't swell much. Gold/glass can be used for initial piercings, and since this is a fancy place, they're most likely using real gold.

no, a piercing having a flat back doesn't mean you can sleep on it without it hurting. it's the pressure around the fresh wound that hurts, not the post. plus, if you're planning on getting lots of piercings, you just learn how to sleep without killing your ears
