It is OK to enjoy your lives and let your grown kids take care of themselves. If they fall on their asses, let them pick themselves up. There is such a thing as being self sufficient. I know our society frowns on such a concept now, but let your grown adults kids try it.

The girl is very immature and shows a lack of empathy. She knows full well her dog made the attack of both the chickens and the ducks. Her attitude is poor. It was a culmination of circumstances. The mom was supposed to let him know when Kira's dog was moving in and she was also supposed to put them in the chicken coop. However she was only in that position because Kyle left the ducks with her for a year, apparently never visited and when he heard the killer dog was moving back in didn't take a proactive stance and go and get his ducks. When actually was he planning to pick them up from the mom? I think there was no plan. He bears some responsibility here. A sad situation for the ducks really. He abandoned them.

That bothers me that the judge doesn't let him speak at the end. This is a television show, not a real court room. Yes she ruled, and wasn't going to change her mind. But she did feel bad and could have atleast let him say his peace lol. She does it alot actually. Though the defendant didn’t do wrong according to the law, she could have thwarted any hard feelings and lawsuits from the plaintiff if she just bought him some duckling chicks . They are cheap, around $6 each . Hopefully the plaintiff realizes that he can’t blame the sister for what happened.
