In this video, we'll show you our experience getting mail order baby chicks from Murray McMurray hatchery. They all arrived in perfect condition and adjusted quickly to their new home. We are so excited for these additions to our homestead! We'll show you our brooder setup and the first 3 days of the chicks' lives and how we care for the chicks. This is our first time ever raising chicks, so please do your own research to figure out what will work best for you!

Marbles or small stones in the chick waterers can protect them from drowning or getting soaked. They’ll get chilled, and can get sick.

So cute. I have my brooder set up in my room and even the pine shaving bother my lungs so I don't use shavings at all. I'm getting some chicks in a few weeks from McMurray. First time ordering from them!
