As an individual that wears hearing aids, this was the most fun part as a young kid. Because after filling my ears with putty, my audiologist would give me the leftover putty and I would make balls out of them and use them as a stress reliever at times. Miss those times!

I mean i know exactly what this feels like as i have to get an ear mould done every other month is as i wear hearing aids and have since i was less than a year old. It honestly is soooo satisfying and feels so nice 😆. I love you both max and harvey xx edit : (thanks for so many likes)

Me being partially deaf in both ears since birth, getting my ear molds for my hearing aids was pretty emotional for me, because for years I couldn't hear like everyone else could, and when I finally got my hearing aids I cried my heart out because it would mean the end of my suffering, from getting made fun of, to not being able to understand my teachers in school. So getting the ear molds for me was the best part, also because of the feeling of the mold getting put in my ear.

This makes me remember when I went for one of my dentist appointments at India's most premium govt. Hospital AIIMS. My orthodontics not only said that to me teeth size is bigger than average, she also asked her nurse to get the "elephant sized teeth brackets", while looking at me like I will be treated like that and I can't do anything about it. She said it in Hindi and back then I was 16 year old having a glimpse how life will be down the line for me here. Since then, I accepted where I live and had faced much worse situations.

Custom earbuds are the best! But make sure your ear canals are clear of any wax first - when I got mine they didn't check my ears and it caused a pretty severe inflammation all the way onto the ear drum.

I get ones done every year, it's one pretty fun and satisfying, I brought my girlfriend with me once she did nothing buy laugh and me and she has hearing aids also. Awsome video

Have my work otoplastics from cotral France, it's worth it for sure, love em every second I use in our Cooper melting facility.

I remember getting this done when they molded my ears for hearing aids. It felt like someone putting thick icing in your ear, very cold lol

I have to get that done every 2 months for my hearing aids lmao

I actually got a pair of these molded earplugs from a gun show a fit perfect obviously. And really do make a difference

This is for in ear custom monitors, musicians use them for playing live in large venues etc.

Oh I get that done so I can have the right size mould for my heating aid! It feels so cold and weird, and then just gets really warm-

When I've got ear plugs in both ears (like good ones that let you hear exactly nothing) I forget I need to breathe to survive so this probably is not s thing I should do

That moment they pulled it out of my ear, I swear I heard an amoeba fart. It also felt amazing 😅

Yoooo they still are using the hand mixed compound we used to have them but now we use the injectors, allows us to take a bit more time with the mould and I actually kind prefer it the hand mixed stuff gives you effectively like 15 seconds once it is in the syrringe before it hardens

She filled them up real good. Till they can't even hear. That's tight.

For everyone asking what the impressions are for… they are all getting custom in ear monitors (IEMs) made. Think of them as the best earphones you can get. When musicians perform, they need to be able to hear themselves and other band members. Custom IEMs are the best way to achieve this, along with a good monitor engineer (which I was) to create an individual mix for each band member.

Honestly tho I have never seen anyone use the block usually if you want a dynamic mould you tell your costumer to do a chewing motion when injecting
