When I teach this to women, they initially reject it. Then I ask them one simple question: would you rather do this and walk away OR have some guy open the trunk of his car and pull you out in the woods where you will never be heard from again? This is an extremely effective self-defense technique and takes little skill level physically.

Thank you Professor D. I appreciate your content. I like your approach. I'm in it for self-defense. The scenario I am most concerned about is road ragers. We have a lot of dangerous people coming into the mountains with their UTVs. They are drunk, playing music loudly, shooting guns off at all hours of the night. They come racing thru our community with big trucks. Riding in groups of 10 to 20 individuals.

Like I mentioned before, practice everything that is against MMA rules.

Damn that was great professor. In the future it would be great if you could do a video and unpack all the ways that you can attack the eyes. I am curious about eye flicks. As an example if you had your arms crossed in front of you right over left it seems like a back handed slap with the back of the fingers on the right hand to the opponents left eye would be a great starter to follow up from. The traditional pokes with fingers and thumbs are amazing but it seems a very fast slap/flick generates a lot of power and could shut him right down if it connects. Arms crossed, hand on your chin, scratching your face, hands up shaking your hands palm facing them like an Italian. A lot of deceptive set ups. Would really like to hear your opinion. Osu!
