In today's video I finally get the 500bhp Golf Gti on the road, but it was hard and as usual there was a stumbling block first.

Had a 2.0T audi A5 with intermittent oil pressure light but car idling smooth no chain noise or cam slow response only when is hot and I am about to park it or where start stop has not activated by the traffic lights. Replaced oil pressure switches didn't solve the problem did oil change twice including engine flush. I finally replaced oil regulating valve although didn't show any fault now the car is perfect no more oil pressure issue try it if problem resist.

Great video Dean as much as it’s been a ball ache it’s refreshing to see the real world of modifications, where things don’t always go right first time instead of someone snapping their fingers & going tada here’s my amazing build someone built for me 😉 nice 100-200 gains 💪🏻 keep the power coming 👍🏻

I love you're work and i follow all your videos. I would love to do what you do! Anyways Fuel can enter the engine via a failed fuel injector o-ring. Now you've replaced that faulty Injector, and put new oil and filters; it could be fixed for good! This actually happened to me after i installed upgraded injectors using the original seals; Fuel went into the engine, it overheated and than seized. Good luck with everything and i cant wait for the beast to be finished!

As you increased the revs I was with you as you grimaced and hoped all was well! Great content Dean. Those plastic coolant pipes are troublesome, but probably better than the old rubber ones? The main issue in modern engines is that the plumbing is so bloody complicated and hard to access 🤬🤬

Its great to see it finally working after all the trouble you have been having with it. I have the same engine on my TT and it's front wheel drive but dsg. Its been that long but did you do anything with the dogbone mount. I put a powerflex insert into the mount and has drastically cut wheel spin and wheel hop down. So want to start remapping it.

Hi mate I enjoy watching your videos very in depth content, my mate has a golf R that's been tuned he had the exact same issue as yourself with low oil pressure, he gave it several oil changes and replaced the sensor but the problem was still there it turned out to be the oil pump starting to fail. If I was you I'd get that replaced asap.

Needs a dyno now that it is stable. Then you can do stuff and dyno again. Great getting it to this point , it is becoming a super sleeper and with two spaced out dyno runs it would be a more valuable car. Definitely drop the sump, check the oil pickup and oil change again.

The only thing I would say about ramping up the hp. Maybe you're car is quicker off the mark now because you have the grip.. Take it to 500+ and it could be useless because you don't have the grip😉 Unless you have future plans to upgrade the handling capability of the car.

Hi Dean, having a nightmare with this 2005 A3 3.2 Quattro 107k. Had eml on, diag stated correlation issue and it was slightly lumpy. Have done full timing chain kit, replaced both solenoids, replaced crank and cam sensors. I STILL have eml light on and still says correlation issue and still lumpy, gutted. Whats the chance it could be the camshaft adjuster sprockets? They are very expensive and id have to do the complete strip down again. Thanks for any input mate.
