I’m a hairdresser and I’m so glad you mentioned how long it takes and breakage, so many girls bring photos of white blonde and get shocked that it takes ages and breaks

I feel like that too but it looks amazing! I know when I get mine highlighted after 6+ months it’s a bit of a shock first and I always feel like it’s too light because I’ve gotten used to it being darker.
