In this video, I'm batching my life admin tasks. Since we’re nearing the end of the year, I wanted to do a big life admin day to create a clean slate ready to start the new year without tasks hanging over my head that I’ve been procrastinating, that have been annoying me or just need to be done.

What I do with cords is i fold each cord the way you did and then tie a rubber around each and that way it stays organized for so long and if you do this to all the cords , you can store them together in one basket.

I recently bought a Roomba and I set him going most mornings (floorboards are dusty daily somehow) and I clean alongside him together for 30-60 minutes first thing. It’s less lonely and boring than doing it alone. I talk to the Roomba and have named him Scrambles. I’ll put some googly eyes on him too. All those lockdowns have made me crazy 😂

acrylic, glass, vertical storage, and transparent plastic have been *such*a game-changer for me (with adhd)! i'm not even exagerating-before I could never find anything, and now I still can't find stuff sometimes but it is in no way comparable to the constant state of overwhelm and confusion I used to live in haha. I can recommend the glossier baggies, they're pink but you can still see in them, Ikea transparent organizers, mason jars or random jars in general, the marie kondo folding system (and having eveything in drawers), and muji transparent baggies and acrylic organizers too!

I like to tidy using the 5 minute rule, I start doing a tidy with 5 minutes only and see how much I got done. It really motivates me and I end up getting everything and more done!

I did my "Life Admin Day" on my day off and totally got so many small things done plus made some donations too! I tidied up and then went through my kitchen bar, clean off dinning table aka remove extra paper/ mail and even posted some items to sell on Facebook! Thank you for this actionable advice and good way to use a day off at home 🏠 Hope you have a Happy New Year! 2022!

Let me just say this: . Our adult son died very suddenly two years ago. He was single, and had no will. Because he was an adult it was incredibly difficult trying to get him out of his apartment, cancel his phone, pay off his bills, etc. etc. etc. Please if nothing else appoint someone to handle your affairs.

Love the idea of a life admin day. On the topic of writing will you indicated you are using a website to write your own which is great but make sure to double check you are in fact creating a legal will. I'm from Alberta, Canada and here, holographic wills (meaning not written by a lawyer with witnesses and affidavits as so forth) are only valid if written entirely in the deceased's own handwriting. Typed wills or fill in the blank style wills are not legally binding wills. The courts may still accept it but the administrator of your estate ends up jumping through hoops for that and there are no guarantees.

Will is a very important task, on my list too. idk if the service is just about property but to write down how you prefer to be buried, how to deal with your personal items, etc is also crucial. Folks, do it out of compassion for your family. If you pass away, they will be sad enough to be also overwhelmed not knowing how you'd want to do this. Speaking from personal experience, it's effing hard, so I'm gonna make it easier for them 🙏

Hi! I actually asked her a few months ago, and she said she didn't have it for sale. That's why I started using the one from Notion, and found out it's very similar. So I guess she started with the same one and customized it. What I did do was go through Michelle's tag list (in the video where she specifically shows her content calendar) to help me out with ideas on how to make it my own. Hope this helps you as well!
