I found 14k Gold Ring, a lot of coins and a little cash while metal detecting the beach. I used a Minelab Equinox 900, finding a nice little loaded with targets cut at Sunset Beach, California.

Most days you are lucky to break a dollar on clad and people wear Stainless and titanium today! Plastic and exact change transactions have almost negated the need to carry coins for change. You’d have to go to a museum to see a half dollar coin anymore.

In this video it was Sunset Beach, California. Not a place for new detectorists as it is one of the most difficult beaches to detect.

Hi Jim! Haley seems to be looking better and better each video. Question: A few episodes back you and other detectorists were hunting a beach with lots of silver coins showing up. What happened with that beach? Did it get over-hunted? For the wydi, my guess this week is aluminum foil.

The silver coins were at Sunset Beach after a huge south swell. The Beach changes everyday, if you do not hit the area during or directly after the swells then you miss the opportunity. great answer, Thank you! 😎👍

@@funwithjim I noticed Sunset Beach is a place you frequent. Our Scout Troops go on a Camping Trip there every year in May. Flashlight Tag is a favorite to play for them at the beach after dark. 😃
