I’m mixed so half of my family is black and the other half is white. There was a time when I was visiting my white grandfather and he was talking with my aunt and uncle about a black vocalist at the church he was attending, and he said “She brings black flava” while snapping his fingers. It was the funniest shit, but I didn’t want to laugh openly since he was being sincere. He says some colorful stuff but he means well, unlike his ex wife (my grandmother) who is just racist
