Another tip: You did well to center the pattern left & right, however, no one will see the full pattern running along the back. You should run the full-size pattern along the cabinet opening and run the trimmed pattern along the cabinet back.

I absolutely love that you said “I’m not even sure if this is in style, I don’t care”. Go with what you love, it’s not called in style it’s called your style.

And i can tell you if you get rid of 99% of that stuff in the garage you won´t miss it after a while instead you´ll have space for your car and nothing else. I can tell ya having empty spaces is just heaven and the calmness that comes with it is just pure bliss ....

I have been decluttering the past few weeks and getting rid of SO MUCH STUFF! It's amazing what we accumulate! I've grounded myself from bringing anything new into the house for 3 months....only necessities. My peace of mind is so much better since I've started this process 🙂

I got rid of all my decor and stuff!!!! my appartment has no knicknacks vases etc ... and i have never been happier and my home has never been more calm and crapfree!!! The less you have the less you dust!!! 😁😁😁😁 Love your channel

❤️ I love what you have done. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, I would recommend that you attach the base of those kitchen cabinet pullouts to the floor of the cabinet. Always a great idea to organize the way you did, but you will find every time you go to get something out of one drawer the entire organizer will come out, as well. Just something I've learned over the years. You are so right about cherishing every moment with your children. It felt like we had babies for so long but now looking back, I would love to get just a small part back because you do miss those chaotic but loving memories. ❤️

I feel ya on kids growing up. My last youngest is 19 months old and she is growing up so fast. 😭 took her and her 7yr old sister to the zoo today. And just enjoyed the time with them. Phone was put away. It was great.

I stumbled across your channel somehow and I’m so glad I did. You are so kind and gentle hearted. Your children are very lucky to have a mother like you. It will shape who they become and how they love themselves and others. Also, I don’t have children of my own but I have 14 nieces and nephews and I can really relate to the sadness of watching them grow older. It’s like you’re constantly mourning the loss of their old selves while also embracing the joy of who they are in the moment. Hang in there mama!

Great video! I know exactly how you feel about your baby growing up. I only have 2 kids and they're a year apart. They're 20 & 21 now, but when they were small I struggled watching them grow up and become more and more independent. Each milestone made my heart happy and break at the same time. Talk to your counselor, I did and it really helped (family/friends can't always understand this struggle).

Lynn, you need to watch Kelsey Romito’s videos. She does so many projects by herself in her home, it’s amazing! She is married but prefers to do everything herself. Great motivation!

I'll do the same thing with the baby pictures. They all make me cry because it just goes by too fast. I think it's normal to be kind of sad that something that brings you so much joy is slipping away so quickly.

I'm telling you for the grout if you will use the resolve carpet cleaner the one for pets it is fantastic you spraying on leave it about 15 to 30 minutes you can do a section at a time if you have a large floor and take your little brush and you will be amazed at how much it gets up it is time consuming but it's worth it I do it in all of my clients' homes because they have the stone flooring if not wood flooring so I definitely use it on their bathrooms which is stone flooring that has grout of course and it works really good

I had a big yard sale in May and it is so freeing! Now I truly really think about anything I buy now. A yard sale is hard work! Every time I see something now I think about all that hard work and I say No! I have really done good about if I get something new I take something out and donate it! I love the floor tiles idea. Definitely gonna do that. Thy little special pop will make me happy every time I open the door. But I think I will trim the back pieces so the front ones are full tiles.

I do 30 minutes everyday sometimes more. I’ve made it a habit. It’s helped me in so many ways.

I laughed when you said you don’t put things back! It took me a long time to actually admit that about myself! But when I finally did, I feel like I organized better. I realized that I tend to do that when containers have lids (except for pantry!) or not super easy access like if it’s in the back of the other container cause I’m always in a rush, it sounds lazy but it sure happens! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ So now, I avoid lids (again! Except for fridge & pantry!) or stacking container without easy access! 😁

If you're thinking of covering your tile floor anyway, try painting the grout lines with regular house paint. I absolutely hated my kitchen grout and couldn't get it clean, so I painted it and it's held up great!

Adding the floor tiles in the cupboard was an excellent idea.

1st time viewer.. We have been rearranging our storage area in our basement. My husband took down a model railroad area that took up quite a bit of space and now it has an area that specifically for Christmas and I love it. I just wanted to say good as the volume inconsistency. Content was great.

Lynn I'm so sorry that happens to you. My last baby is now and yes I look at him sometimes and I'm sad he's growing up so fast. I cry sometimes too I wouldn't say I get overwhelmed though. What I can tell you is I try to focus on the future. Because I want to see want kind of person he will be and how he be towards others. I know you want thast for Emma too. And I also understand having older and younger children my oldest is 18. I hope I helped a little. And I hope you know you are loved too.

I love watching your organizing videos I get so many ideas. I absolutely got very depressed and sad when my youngest, who is almost 23 now was a baby. Every time I would see his clothes that he grew out of I would cry and to be honest I'm still do get sad. I only have 2 boys which I thank God for everyday because I was told at a very young age I would probably never have kids and I do. I did have a couple miscarriages. But I had to be done I couldn't carry anymore babies. But think about if before you know it you will have grandbabies that you can spoil lol. ❤❤❤

It’s a lovely idea to tile the bottom of the cupboard. It might be worth putting the cut tiles at the back next time so that you have the full pattern where you can see it and the cut tiles away from view. Just a thought, not a criticism!

My husband doesn’t care for these tiles, but I’m in love with them! (maybe he’s jealous…)🤔 Anyway, I’ve wanted to purchase and use these someplace, and now I know where! Thanks for the beautiful idea!!!! 😍

We went to Tapp Plastics and had them cut a piece of 1/8” matte white acrylic that was the exact size of our under sink ‘cause we had damage from cleaning solvent leakage. Dropped the piece in and you can’t even tell it wasn’t part of the cabinet. We’ll caulk the edges to keep moisture from being trapped between the cabinet and plastic sheet.

Hey Lynn! You may already know this hack, but I sprayed Resolve foaming carpet cleaner on my really dirty grout and let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour. Then used a brush, scrubbed, and then wiped it up. I was amazed at how well that worked.

I struggled with my babies growing up, I think we all do to some degree. Mine are 36 and 37 years old and I finally 2 years ago gave their cradle and bassinet to the goodwill. I just couldn’t seem to give those up.

My last baby is almost 5 and my first just turned 18. I struggle a bit with my youngest growing up and never having another baby. (I'm almost 45, so agewise it just isn't so normal anymore. Plus our house is full with the 4 kids between my husband and me. My sons are 18 and 16, his daughter is 14 and our daughter is nearly 5 yo. Also moneywise it's better not to have more children, especially now with the inflation on everything...) I'm going to try the 30 minutes of walk, I think it's good for my ADD, my asthma and my overall health. I'm overweight too, so it may be the small kickstart to me trying to move more on a day-to-day basis.

❤ hi Lynn that was a huge amount of work and I bet it felt amazing, At the moment it feels like we are in the same head space when it comes to stuff… you know exactly what I mean, I brought all this stuff into our home but I’ve got to a point where enough is to much. 80% of my craft supplies are in my Mom in law’s garage I didn’t want to get rid of them but I had to much to even imagine how to use them . I’m working on the kitchen and Lisa is also helping anything we don’t want or use or even like is going. It feels great We started with the bedroom and we haven’t stopped yet. We hope to finish by the end of October, so when Christmas comes it’s calm , relaxing and full oh the real meaning of the season. I'm new to your channel, I pray that every woman in the world tries to learn how to do stuff on their own. I've had open heart surgery, 5 bypasses, then I had to go back a month later and get two stints, I've had 12 heart attacks since age 50, I'm 55 now. I was showing my husband how to do certain things, teaching him how to cook, things I always did as I've been disabled for many years. We both thought I'd die first. Well July 12, 2018 my husband was found in the yard, the guy came running in to tell me about it. I called 911 cause it looked like he was having a seizure, but he'd never had one before. Well, my worst nightmare happened, I couldn't get his B/P with my kit, so I called a neighbor, she called her daughter in law, who's a RN, they got there in two minutes, they couldn't get it till the RN got the old fashioned B/ P cup and stethoscope , she never told me if she got it, but he was actually having a heart attack, what got me is he'd went 6 weeks before and they couldn't find any thing wrong, his B/P was good, triglyceride, and cholesterol was good, EKG was good, everything was good, but he passed away ! I didn't know how to do much of anything, but I can do so much on my own now. Ok to decluttering, I've gotten rid of 37 bags of donations, 11 bags of trash just this weekend. It feels so good to finally get rid of stuff. Of course I have stuff of my husband's and my parents ( all three are dead ) that I'm just not ready to get rid of. Even a few things of my dad's mom's, my mom's parents ( which are also all dead ) and a Aunt who I loved very much, but not a whole lot of their stuff.its not in my house UNLESS I'm actually using it, .. I already love your videos
