Man.. I went through this on my current shop. Being only have used a manual before(Riley Hopkins 300).. I wanted an auto for bigger jobs as the business was growing. Small shop so I wanted to keep it quiet and figured a electric press would be best. Contacted anatol, their timelines were too long. Then someone locally was selling a Brown Electra Print and bought it. It was the worst mistake I made. The thing never held registration and overall just a terrible machine. Lost my ass on it.. but got rid of it and got an old school Workhorse Javelin. 20 year old press. Works like magic. Holds registration, and is loud because of the compressor but prints like a champ. Digging myself out of that hole now. You’re content has always been fun and very motivating! You’ll be slinging shirts and pumping orders out in no time!! Good Luck with the new press! Excited to see how it works 🙏🏽❤️

I also look forward to your new content so when it died down a bit it was frustrating. However once again whether you know it or not you continue to motivate people. This channel has become a life line of inspiration for so many. When everything is back up and running I know this channel will take off even more. Ryonet made the right decision choosing you and they’re going to win big because of it.

Something doesn't add up... You bought a new home, land and big ass building. Spent over a year essentially out of business building a new base for your business. A custom manual printer was made but didn't hold registration. A high end used ROQ was brought in that couldn't be registered, with both having to be replaced. 80% loss in annual revenue with a ton of new liability now responsible for. It appears that $750,000 - $1,000,000 invested over a year and no revenue to speak of. Either your 20% of revenue is just off the charts or there is something else being built with a ton of outside funding. No other shop could allow this to happen and keep the lights on or even keep the roof over their head. Not that any explanation is owed to any of us because it's your business but, you're asking your followers to swallow something that's not even practical in the real world.
@leestuart38
@leestuart38 Жыл бұрын
Lol everyone else understands it pretty easily. I'm very clear that all of this equipment is sponsored by someone, and I make a lot of outside revenue from this channel and other means like my 3 websites selling merch. I was also pretty open in this video that this almost ended it all because it was a huge hit. Not hard to figure out
@statusdesignshop4550
@statusdesignshop4550 Жыл бұрын
@@leestuart38 I wasn't trying to be insulting and apologies that it came off that way. It is clear that you have a lot of sponsorship involved. My point is the shear undertaking of this venture isn't practical unless you're building something more in line of a production show of some kind. Sorry if I insulted you!
@leestuart38
@leestuart38 Жыл бұрын
@@statusdesignshop4550 it's very practical when you produce print work at higher volumes. I was printing more than any manual printer should before this, and turned away more than I took in. Once this is finally operational in the next 2 weeks I'll be able to bring this business to another level. And I was also smart enough beforehand to set myself up to have money coming in from more than just the print shop, so that I'd be fine if the shop was to shut down for some reason.

Got rid of that huge paper weight and sadly haven't gotten a new one after a year or so. Bummer this is happening. Ive been running that press for little over a year now, coming from a manual (riley 300) and it has been a huge game changer. Have such a hard time looking back. We tried to keep our manual, but after a year just wanted the room since the auto chewed everything up so fast. I think the on-boarding process is super important especially for a newb on autos, and skipping that for sure would cause issues! But a used press that has not been refurbished yet is a crap shoot. Im sure they were told it was "like new" when they got it, but ROQ is pretty solid for us on the customer service end. Hope your 200% asap and can get caught up.

They catch you with pretty design other than that they are a shady company. They won't give you an upfront price for the machines. They say they don't do that because there are other things needed. I get that, but there should be a price for every model, then add on prices, then shipping. I don't like companies with tactics like this. Transparency builds trust. This is why this economy will never florish. People are always doing shady shit to pull more money in and other people pick up that same habit. I am looking forward to he review of you new machine. I am happy you posted this video.
@leestuart38
@leestuart38 Жыл бұрын
Nobody advertises their pricing in the industry and for good reason. The cost of materials, manufacturing and shipping are constantly fluctuating so it's impossible to stick to a list price, especially when those factors change for every model in the lineup and change again depending on options. I don't list my screen printing pricing anywhere for the exact same reason, because those prices have to change on a moments notice due to the business climate and when you list a price you're stuck there.

Ultimately not what you want to deal with after spending 50 grand on something. I’ve been told that roq and m&r have better service though. Were you happy with the tech they sent out?
