Wow. Thank you so much. I'm doing some simple video editing stuff and was so very confused using another product. Very confused. OpenShot is very intuitive and powerful. I'm working my way through your series of tutorial videos now. I don't know where else to give you feedback, so I'll do it here. Apologies if this isn't the right place. Many of the transitions are in 4x3 aspect ratio. I had to make my own transition left-to-right wipe that was suitable for 1080p aspect ratio. Maybe I don't know how to use your set properly. Anyhow, thanks again. I'm super excited to use your product for my simple project.

downloaded last night and found your pt 1 tutorial, awesome app man. im trying to figure out how to speed up a in game drive but keep the audio from the car radio normal speed

before down loading i went through all your tutorials , loved the possibilities and downloaded ... yes i could finally make use of all the videos and time lapses that i have done over the years ... unfortunately the program keeps crashing ,while spliting it slows down and you have to wait for ever..... after one day it just opens up and then as soon as i press anything it says that there is a problem with the launcher !!!!! help ... i really like the lay out and with the little time that i used it found it very easy to understand ,also thanks to your tutorials. but what a shame can't get it to work ...i really hope you can work out its bugs because i really think its topzzz.

I LOVE THIS!! i made my own sample animes w clips and music, a hello milwaukee add w no sound but boy from new york city added and a cartoon w music where there was no sound- question can you extract sound as a mp3 . also i wish it had a CUT IN CUT OUT > < to mark very detyail cuts, and 3rd to render, i wish it would save the file path i want it go go to my G partition and REMEMBER it , like most softwares

Learning video editing has been intimidating. I came across OpenShot serching for a free editor. Thanks to your tutorial videos, I uploaded my first edited KZfaq video using OpenShot.I hope to learn more advanced editing and my next video will be far better now that I got my feet wet. This is the only video editor that works on my very old computer. I like it. It is very good. The only thing I don't understand though is how you set where you want the end to be? When I export my video it has a few minutes of blank screen at the end. How do you set an end marker on the track?

Hi I updated the latest OpenShot. I had a video ready to just press the red export button, but then when I did it now, the speed is different, for some reason. So I opened my previous video, no faster speed, no problems. How I can reset it to normal speed, So I don't sound like I inhaled helium?? Please help

hi i've got the editor and was just wondering what is the recommended ram size for running this program? i only have 3gb and when i'm scrubbing through my timeline or playing back video it is a little bit laggy so im guessing its due to my ram and my old crappy pc lol...

I just used openshot on Linux on Dex on the Samsung Galaxy Note9! Works pretty decently!

I was comfortable with moviemaker, have been disappointed with limited fucntionality of Win 10 video editor, lack of transitions etc. I'd love to abandon ship effieciently. Is there any way to port the vid/audio/image bits n pieces I have in the video editor and port what I have over to OpenShot? probably not. But I thought I'd ask lol. thx

This is a very powerful video editor, I think I like it even more than ShotCut!

I am a beginner and know very little about video editing.. I recently got a drone that can record F-log, and I notice in some editors they have a feature called "color grading" (separately adjust high, mid, and low tones).. Is there a way to do this in openshot? My goal is to have as much dynamic range as possible by manipulating these three areas individually.. And to individually manipulate the saturation, contrast, and brightness of highs, mids, lows..

From what I can tell, there is no way to import video directly from a mini-DV camcorder on OpenShot (on Windows). Is this correct?

i accidentally X'ed out of my project files and video preview, how do I get it back or open it again????

When you upload and then put your video on a page, say FB, the fixed video where you click to start it has an image. I guess what you would call your fixed view image people see before they click. Is there anyway to set this. It seems to just pick a place and use that image, when I want to have a nice opening image set to see, not some random image in the video...

Does openshot edit audio too? Adding reverb? Noise reduction?

My OpenShot screen never opens with project files on upper left, video preview on the upper right and the timeline at the bottom. Do I have some inferior version? Thanks!

its not letting me drag my videos from the photo album to the app on my mac. I can only drag files from file finder.

I like this program, so far. However, the title/animated title will not work, even after downloading the Render software. HELP! -Dennis, Cody's Dad and Video Editor.

When I finish making something it plays alright in the Editor but when it's played on anything else it freezes for like 2 seconds here and there and when I mute the audio for 2 seconds it only stays muted for like 1 second, Any help?
