This demo has helped increase my confidence in using Dragon 15. Thank you very much.

I was worried that I'd have to talk rapidly for Dragon to work (used to that stress from Google Docs which freezes up after a few seconds of inactivity) so it gave me great peace hearing you talk slower & take small thinking breaks with no repercussions. I was seriously considering Dragon before but I think this vid, surprisingly, gave me the final peace & confidence to actually take the plunge!

This looks incredible. The stuff I could do with it to make my life easier would be awesome. Going to look up a Mac version, apparently they do exist.

Hello, I am curious to learn, does this software provide not only diction but an equal proportionate audio recording file? I want to be able to hear my voice at the same time I read what I said, and ideally in a perfect world, I would be able to adjust the speed at which I hear my own voice, does anyone know how can this can be achieved in one go? -Thank you

When you play and transcribe an audio file does it put paragraphs automatically or do you need to edit after? Thanks.

Hi Thad, if you still check on commentaries and replies to your demo, can you tell me if this software is available on a free basis and will fit Windows 7? My wife can't use keyboards easily and would like to work on publishing a simple small Ebook; However, as far as text contents, she would find very useful a voice-to-text software such as this one. What can I do to help her?

I haven't seen it free, but it says it works on Windows 7. If you'd like free, I recommend smartphone apps. I've found extremely high quality free voice typing apps on Android! Even Google Docs voice typing function works much better on a mobile device than a laptop, so she could voice type it on her phone then edit it on the computer. (It does have a large inaccuracy percent I've found, though, which means more keyboard editing work.) Another option is a transcription service, where she records her voice & pays a company to type it up for her (higher accuracy with less editing), though it does cost money. I used free apps with a cheap lapel mic I'd hold in front of me to start dictating short stories when first learning, then switched to Google Docs on my laptop (same mic) when I had bigger, more serious projects that I needed on my computer. Google Doc's been a pain to use, though, which is why I'm planning on finally buying Dragon. I have chronic wrists injuries & typing is getting to be too much.

I installed DNS v.12 so that I can use 2021 MS Word and nothing but frustrating hours of headaches with the Dragon " "add_in" not working. I am blaming both Microsoft and Nuance for my problem. Disgusted! MS seems to want to bump Dragon off the speech recognition scene....in order to promote its own speech recognition inadequate under development "weak" software.... Frustrated in utah. P.S. I have been a "happy" MS WORD and Dragon user for many years....

if I cannot read how do I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking

It sounds like your hardest hurdle would be catching errors. Perhaps a transcription service would be better? You record an audio clip of your voice & send it to a company who then types it up for you. That or have someone else read through what you've voice typed & edit it for you. (Helpful for emails & such.)

I sure hope you're not a rep for them, you make this program suck. It looks totally uninviting, seeing all the problems you have with it. I can't see how that would improve creativity and output... Very cumbersome, the way you demonstrate it.

Laurence Socrates - trolls like you are the cancer of KZfaq and social media. I’d like to see you come up with some better content, doubt you could though. You don’t seem very talented at all.

When I was a boy, my mom often watched the evening news and said, "Some people just have to find something to whinge about." You are one of those people. Haters are going to hate. Lovers are going to love. Trolls are going to troll.
