Thank you for making it clear that the microphone jack is STEREO. Non of the documentation mentions stereo but just a mic jack. I needed the mic jack to be stereo since I work with a lot of external music files.

An external speaker either a stereo or mono speaker. External speakers depending on the quality give a better sound. Just plug either stereo or mono speakers into the SPEAKER jack on the side.Hope this helped answer your question.
