I really like the concept of this channel - I've read several of these books, but over time the concepts kind of fall to the wayside. This is a great way to get a refresher on the main points of the book without having to reread it all over again

+RishyCup TV Thanks very much Marisha! That is one of the most important takeaways for all of us..... to use our brain for creation rather than storage. It is the way to get rid of overwhelm and clutter in our brains.

Lessons Learnt: People often give too much attention to unimportant tasks and too little attention to critical goals. A stress-free mind reacts to new tasks like stones falling into a still pond: Large stones create large ripples, small stones create small ripples. A good organizational system generates appropriate responses to all tasks. Put every task you need to do now, later or in the future into a logical, organized system. Move everything from your head into a trustworthy system that you review regularly. Since you know that the task is captured in your system, you can stop worrying about it. Corral all of your stuff into designated baskets, boxes or folders. Use horizontal controls to place everything that commands your attention into an organized framework. Use vertical controls to plan projects effectively. To get projects under way, define your purpose and principles, envision the outcome, brainstorm, organize and identify actions.

That's a good idea. Write down all the stuff that needs to get done in general. And don't talk about it (like fight club). Just gtd. Like right now. Im chillin drinking some coffee to this. And I now know I have carved out the mental space. And there is this creepy ass chaldean guy dressed in really awful clothes who keeps like, glancing at me and giving me this mad dog stare. Im a total stranger too, just doin my thing far from him. But it feels so tense like anything could set this dude off. But I can't even notice him when I am listening to this and focusing cause I carved out the time. Like driving at the last minute around rushed people or going early from carving out the time. Now I finished typing this, the guy just walked away. This is awesome. Another great thing from the book is purging your mind. Getting everything out all the way so you can focus on what is in front of you more productively. I think, a lot. I spend most time strategizing and developing dynamics for every situation to apply complex ideas. So it's hard for me to even come up with a reason to stop. My head is so full of info its like no wonder I was being pulled in all kinds of directions. And work flow. This is the first book to ever cover it as simple as this one did. As well as how the book compliments Colder Than a Fart in a Dead Eskamo, so well.

How long does it take to make a video like this? I mean writing the speach, drawing and mounting all together. Not considering the time to read the book or extract the important information
@2000Books

Great question - All of this work can take almost a month for a 10 minute video - specially because storyboards take a long time to come together.

2000 Books Er, like zero? Talking out loud helps, but I'm not allowed to do that in class, work, etc. So that's kind of a hindrance. I have severe procrastination because of my ADD and I thought this video could help but ahaha, I've been told this so many times xp. Maybe a new video idea might be for ADD/ADHD people? lol. Best wishes, enjoy your day! x
