Another fun Taryl video. Re: the resin in the air filter, it does use formaldehyde as a curing agent, but the 'phe' is just part of 'phenolic'. A friend of mine developed a lot of those old resins back in the forties when no one had heard of plastic. Polymer chemistry was just a baby back then.

I remember my grand dad using a mower like that around oil wells & tank batteries for the Texaco oil company in Okla back in the early fifties, I still remember the Clinton engines also.
