Nakaka mangha po ang Pipe Organ. Hindi pa ko nakakita nyan. Sarap makakita ng mga lumang simbaha. Gaya ng pumunta kame sa lugar ng asawa ko sa Bohol, ang gaganda din ng mga lumang simbahan dun, nag video ako sa labas habang nadadaanan namen sa byahe.

Thank you so much for featuring San Juan de Bautista Church. I sent a link to my mom which is 88 y/o cuz I got the feeling that she goes to church there when she was a young girl. My mom told me, "yes I used to attend mass there" My mom was born in Macabayao, a town minutes away from Jimenez. She also told me that, "during WW2 Japanese troops bomb that church". She also attended 2nd and 3rd year highschool in that school. Again thank you very much, nicely done.

My favorite part of heritage churches was the coral stones quarried from the seas. 😊

If you can make it try to go to Cuta, Ozamiz City Historical yun During the war , the Japanese used the church as tower. Been there And you should travel to CdO too my hometown God bless tc🙏 my late mother is from Aloran, Mis Occ When she passed we went to Oroqueta then otw to CdO by car we stopped in Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte. Pasyal ka to Northern Mindanao ( Mis Or., Mis Occ, Bukidnon etc) Enjoy 🥰

This is the only church that has 90 percent original so impressive ,the process of preserving wood or bamboo is by soaking it in salt water for atleast one year this remove the natural sugar content of the wood or bamboo which attracts termites by replacing it with salt so the salt prevent the termite and other wood pest from eating the wood or bamboo the ceiling is in trompe de oil a paintng process in deceiving the eyes that the object is there or giving a 3 dimentional effect on a flat surface I think the pigment that were used might be natural minerals these type of pigments can last a long time compare to synthethic which we use today probably egg yoke binder where used the mineral were crushed and powdered then use an egg yoke binder use during medieval Europe the Organ is so outstanding and amazing still in working condition probably that is from Germany the only country known for making the best Pipe Organ

Maraming mga parishioners na pinapalitada ng semento then pinipinturahan mga lumang simbahan. Please tell your viewers na mas maganda ang old stone kesa new plaster. Nawawala ang " character " ng mga lumang simbahan o bahay. Sana may law na mga lumang simbahan hindi pwedeng I remodel with approval from National Museum o Heritage Body.
