Please Amber, waste as much time as you like looking at all the details in the environments. Basically every other youtuber gets complete tunnel vision for some reason in this game and they miss nearly everything that isn't expressly pointed out to them. Your tendency to take your time and absorb everything is why I've stuck around since Bloodborne.

Just a combat tip: While in combat, if you press the touch pad button (PS5 controller or PS4, the same as the map outside combat) you can see the enemy data. If you've already used assess, it'll show you the weaknesses, etc. Also helpful to know if you've staggered, assessed the enemy, etc for Chadley.

Enjoying your FF playthrough. One thing about assessing enemies. Do assessments on everything and EVERYONE you fight. The humans count too. Also, as an example, you assessed the Lesser Drakes but you missed the the boss Drake at the end. They both count differently. This happens throughout the game. Multiple types of rats, frogs, foot soldiers, flying soldiers, etc. If in doubt if you already scanned and enemy in a previous fight, scan it anyway. It doesn't hurt. There are a lot of materias you can get through Chadly this way. Good luck and have fun!😉👍

Excellent episode, as always! Tip: if you want to know more about any of the bad guys (including the one on the bike), the answer is simple - Assess. It is no use to keep that assess materia on any of the Cloud's "companion" characters since they come and go. Better keep it constantly on Cloud and use it on every new enemy you meet to get both the lore and battle intel. Since it's now already in the past, I can tell that you missed to assess the last drake (which was different from the first ones), security guards arresting Johny and the four bullies that were asking about Barret. Like with other monsters/enemies, you can find some lore in their description. P.S. You increasingly start to look like Snow White. Beautiful but very pale. Take the Lesson One from Marle/Tifa, please! 😀

I actually really love the subtext in that scene: as Cloud says, the use of mako changes them visually but, of course, that's not really what Tifa was talking about...

Looking at the artistry, I think the most interesting hidden detail of the technology presented is that nothing is made of plastic, which is a nod to the fact that they don't use oil as a fuel source.

Chadley wears a scarf? I thought he just had a pet butterfly lol. Not sure what you've done since this, but the 1st stagger mission is a bit tricky. You're meant to get an enemy staggered and then use triangle moves to fill ATB. Weaker enemies just tend to die as soon as they're staggered. Tifa is the best!! All the characters are super fun but she was by far my favorite in combat. She felt like a Street Fighter character by the endgame, learning to combo different ATB moves and triangle moves and such. Make sure you prioritize max proficiency on all your weapons!

Game Tip: Vendors and Vending machines will offer some items for a discount (i.e 100% down). Those are the best opportunities to stook up when you can. So check the vendors and vending machines as often as you can. 😊

Here's a tip. Keep assessing enemies, you can get stronger summoning materia.

To be fair to Jessie (who is Best Girl), she's a lot more into Cloud's other... assets than his personality. And Roche is the best. Every character in this game is extremely thirsty for Cloud one way or another. Except Barrett. So, the percentage in the vendor menu is for discounted items. Whenever you see those, buy the entire discounted stock. You won't find better prices anywhere else. If you ever see a new weapon, also buy it immediately. Also for music. On the weapon, I think you see the conditions for permanently learning the weapon-specific ability. It's probably just to use it the ability repeatedly. Do that as soon as possible. It's extremely useful. Lastly, don't forget that Tifa's Chakra materia also cures poison. Main benefit is that it doesn't use MP and heals the wearer by a percentage of their health, I believe, as opposed to a set amount. So the more HP you've lost, the more you'll recover.

Heeey, don't worry if u don't remember things, there's a LOT of new stuff in the remake, things that nobody knew, like the ghost things etc, so it was kind of a new experience for everyone

I started playing Remake last night. I only intended to play for 2 hours. I ended up playing from 8pm to 5am lol!

Word of advice, punisher mode is great for blocking and countering melee attacks but stay in normal mode for maneuvering, learn to switch between the two stances on and off when needed. It could make the difference between taking a lot of damage or not. Also, Cloud should have the Access materia since you will be playing as him most of the game since you'll be needing to access a ton of enemies to get 100% and additional Summon materia earlier in the game. And by all means waste time, do side quests to your hearts desire, helps with leveling up

Cloud really needs a personality check and Tifa knows something is wrong with him but just won't say for some reason.

i might need to get this game, it looks so fun! i wanted to play it when it came out but i just haven't got around to it, loving the look of it tho also yes, basically every final fantasy character is gorgeous lmao, something about being important to the story in these games comes with the benefit of insane genes i guess haha

Make sure you level up chakra materia, you are going to want one for Tifa and Cloud. Best healing in the game.

The remake is exactly that. The team stated that it is a reimagining of the story. You will see indications as you move through the story. That is all I will say. Other than have fun, which you are already doing.

Not sure if pointed out, but if you want to permanently learn a skill from a weapon, uou actually habe to use the skill a few times until it sticks.

Hey Amber, another cool video today, if I can give you a piece of advice, don't pay too much attention to the less detailed NPC's dialogues, the ones that dispay on the left side of the screen, they're not very important, it's just there to make the places more alive I think :)

Make sure you do all the side missions (they're worth it) - and try to squeeze in Crisis Core before playing Rebirth... (it's only short, 7hrs max, and Rebirth will probably be full of story spoilers... also best protagonist ever)

From what I understand, Tifa is essentially a mathematically perfect video game heroine (waifu). In 1997, she was very close to mathematically perfect (about 94.6%), but was limited by the technology of the time. Now, science has advanced enough to render Tifa 99.999% perfect. Not just her looks, but her personality and "coolness" has evolved significantly and with the addition of an incredible voice actress, she's basically perfect. 😍 Can't stress enough how much I enjoy watching you play this game! And it's so satisfying to sit back and revel in the environments too. 😌

I like the remake... but it sucks at the same time. I can't exactly put my finger on why that is, it just seems like 30 years was too long for what they made of this game. 🤷 it's pretty, and the re-imagining of the story is kind of cool, but people have been talking about a remake, or ff7-2 since ps2 was announced, maybe even before that. Just doesn't feel like it was worth the wait. Edit: "I'm not your bro." Is still priceless.

Ok Amber, let us be clear here: The next game you are gonna play MUST BE 'Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7: Reunion'. It originally released on PSP but now is remastered on all platforms and tells the story of what happened before FF7. It is SUPER DUPER important to play it to know exactly what's going on in FF Remake and who some of the characters that you're seeing in this game are. Since storywise, FF7 it is very dependent on Crisis Core. It is really really important and it's one of the best games Square Enix ever released! So keep that in mind!

Fun episode bur would have loved to see the original tbh. Didn't like the remake. Graphics and Combat were great but all that additional filler stuff was so incredible boring and often hard to watch. Really really hated the early Sephiroth reveal, killed all suspense.
