Going from being a BK all my life to an AK and it's definitely a Different beast. I've watched several of your videos for walking before attempting my first walk on the above knee prosthesis check socket and my Prosthetist was impressed. But, I totally contribute with how well it went to being able to watch your videos before hand as well as maybe my past experience with having the BK, thank you. I have another appointment with him tomorrow so here I am again.

Being AK myself, It's been a month and I'm still using a walker. It's definitely not a easy task.

Is there a way for an ak amputee *without* a prosthesis get off the floor. If so, is there a video? The logistics of it seem impossible.

Yes! While it is never easy, below knee amputees do not need to worry about the prosthetic knee giving way.

Yes, the patient model has a microprocessor prosthetic knee; an Ottobock C-Leg with the protective cover. Glad to have you watching the channel!
