Interesting. I was contemplating "As Far as the Stars" this morning. I came to the conclusion that that album is a rock opera. It doesn't have a plot or a story, but it does have an interesting character arc that the three protagonists travel over the course of the album. It's not entirely in chronological order, and there is really only the one character arc that all three characters travel together with only minor variations between them (with Ego Trip being the only exception to that rule; it's my favorite song of the album, partly because it places the characters into an interesting conflict with one another, where in every other song they're always in synchrony). It's really good too. Did I mention that? I really like "As Far as the Stars". Many of the songs are great individually, but work even better as a cohesive whole.

Some people can't be helped no matter how hard you try. They have to want to be helped and if the will isn't there you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I speak from experience and had to let go of someone I cared about immensely but in the end they turned out to be a self admitted narcissistic sociopath. I still think about her and the good times we had but at the same time all the horrible tragic times outweigh the good and she would of only brought me down even further into her bleak misery she tried so hard to disguise.

Not many of then newer fans knew about them as a band. I learned about this for a comment on one of their new videos and came to find it.

I just found out about Tom n Nova a month ago from newer songs. Can’t believe I’ve never come across them as I’m on KZfaq to much. Just LOVE them and been jamming to new stuff and wondering about their early years to have such a strong message and BOOM here I am 😁. This song is as amazing as the new stuff. Such powerful heart lead lyrics. AMAZING

Six media entities in America practically controlling everything we see and hear on TV and on the radio. I'd love to hear Tom and Novas story as well but there's little chance among the Big Brother and 90 Day Fiance shows to have them anywhere where large numbers of people can see them. Other than youtube of course.
