humor doesn't benefit from someone explaining it, (especially not from a German explaining it) but seriously let me assure you that I have the deepest respect for both sides of therapy and have personal experience with it. everyone who tackles something they have to, as well as ppl being able to help are very important. the joke is NOT that this practice itself is silly, the joke is (I don't know where to start) that a sample library exists of a well known drummer without his participation...and the therapist even turns on him ... the first sentence alone : "everyone likes my sound" framed as a problem ....honestly, I find that funny and can see the humor in it ...although im German :-)

I mean, you could argue that all advertising exploits peoples insecurities, their anxiety and subconscious desires, thus making this a meta commentary on the nature of commercialising ones "sound" (literally selling off your own identity) and the rampant exploitation within not just music but all creative industries. Alternatively, you could just enjoy the funny advert.
