When you play cards more than a fly plays with shit, youre going to run into some super nasty bad beats. Variance is real. You can get cold cards, and somebody can play a dog water hand against you, win, and absolutely crush your dreams if you let it. Poker is something

Hitting runner-runner is such a long shot that you should be sending these guys cab fare to play in your games. That situation is so +ev you should be searching for it. The few times it costs you is by far overcome by the amount they add to your bottom line the vast majority of the time they miss their miracle run-out. Learn to embrace the bad-beat.
